Those are the people who go overboard, I'm talking about these college students. And either way, with the offensive ones included, I know what you are talking about Dist, they are to protest the violent actions of the extremist sect of your religion, the idea is that they can't kill all the people drawing mohammed.

has anyone actually been killed? If someone randomly showed me one of those pictures I would threaten to kill him too...he can draw them but no need to brandish them in front of my face.

So to annoy this one small sect of extremists who gave an empty threat...u insult the whole religion? That is ingenius, truly it is...

There is a right to freedom of speech,

but also the idiocy of thinking that what you say has no affect or repercussions within the legal system.

I don't support radical freedom of speech, I believe that it is limited, as shown by the famous WWI case involving a socialist handing out papers that encouraged people to do nothing if they are enlisted in the war.

You seriously cannot be insulting my intelligence that much by asking the same fucking question that has been answered 100x in this thread already.

Listen buddy, the only right anyone has is a right earned in blood. History and humanity has shown countless times that "rights" are distributed at the tip of a sword. If I had that sword, and the rights were mine to distribute you can be sure skinheads spewing hate, jihadists talking about killing people and any other form of anger or hatred would be dealt with by the same sword that gave you the right to even order a big mac.

Group A is wrong, it says that THEY can't draw Mohammed, not that anyone else can't.

It is implausible to conform to every major group champ, so why should we conform to one's wishes and desires.

People in Group B, of DRAY'S! group, are not necessarily following what Mohammed Day is about, it is about depicting mohammed, not necessarily in any form offensive, but that defeats terrorists. I mean really, if EVERYONE KNOWS someone is lying, do you get angry about it? No, you don't. So if someone insults your god, you stay true to your beliefs, because you are supposed to KNOW they are wrong, not get angry about it, isn't ALLAH supposed to punish those bad people anyway? It's silly and goes against their religion.

i think its bull shit how they can get away with the threats, and guess what the time square bombing was right in front of the tv studio that broadcasts south park... are you guys going to tell me that there is no connection? now don't get me wrong i don't discriminate but they are getting away with too much just because obama is a Muslim like he is the president and his birth father was a fucking radical for christ sakes.... then the shit with Guantanamo bay and how all the terrorists are being shipped to the US for '' fair trials'' is all bull shit i say we torture the shit out of them until we get what we want and then kill the sons of bitches

as you can tell this is a very touchy subject to me im not saying all muslims are bad. i have muslim friends at school but the bad ones make a bad name for the rest is all im saying.

Also thing, you just said it, its their rules, not mine, I can respect them, I do, but when it comes to terrorists? I think we can all take a stand and draw Mohammed to strike back and protest them, of course not physically.

Mock their religion because some of them are terrorists?
Unless you are saying all Muslims are terrorists...
Otherwise, are you saying that as long as you offend some of them (terrorists) its okay to offend the people who aren't the terrorists but are Muslims?
