so I installed jka on my new laptop and when I run game it looks same as if I been runing it in window mode. What the fucK? Anybody knows how to fix this?

high end computers have poor compatibility with JKA. basically, youre fucked unless you run it on window mode. and even then, dont expect the game to be always right. high resolution computers with new tech are very uneven with JKA.

On my laptop that i just got a few months ago, the resolution is short on the width. So i have like 1-2 inch black are on either side of the game. Even when i tried to change the resolution, it changed the game's window and did nothing to the black background

Yeah, run it in Window Mode. Seriously JKA was made when the PS2 and Xbox were the dominate consoles, they can't run high end resolution.

tnx for support but I found the way, though I wanted to run it in 640x480 the only way to have full screen for me was V
