Yes I didn't fell like a 10 page segment where I outlined subtext and emotions. I had a long and short version in my head, the long was well written, gave each character depth, but would have been, like I said, 10 pages minimum. Then there was the short immature version which got the point across in three and I only had 2 hours to write.

The computer is meant to show that this takes place long after the events are over. Talking years after this war.

I really liked that segment though. It'd be cool to write a whole story like that. but, it's a little unwarranted.

I was just planning on it being undefined, no characters just a way of introducing normal troops into the conflict since aside from Red's and a couple of Pto's posts it's been all Force Users.

I don't mind the hammy stuff it's kinda funny, oh and project Daedalus is kinda complex, but I'm enjoying the writing coming out of not knowing yet so I'm going to keep it a secret for a while. Ya'll write better when you put your characters in your own position of not being sure.

Because I did not look forward to the rushed elements of trying to combine 3 time consuming things I gave us a working period. Very open-ended, you can pretty much do what you like with the result.
