Amendments to the Charter - Passed Empty Amendments to the Charter - Passed

Post by Dray The Fingerless Sun May 09, 2010 8:39 pm

Number 1: When a member is exiled from his faction(eg:Nihil) such member is put in the Exile rank, thru wich he will follow the Exile procedures(waiting 2 weeks, applying, climbing up the ranks etc etc).

Number 2: Any changes to leadership challenges(The DL, S'A and BM challenges) thru revised ranking propositions must be put forth as an amendment for the Charter. The reason for this is because the Challenges in the Charter surpass any revised rankings made, and thus, to make the changes valid to these challenges, any external factors(such as the DL only being able to be challenged by Path of Manipulation) must be added to the charter and alter the current established challenges.

Number 3:During faction switching, the decision to reject an application, and thus sending someone into Exile, is irrevocable. Once someone is made an exile, the decision is final, unless leadership changes, in wich case, the new leader may revoke the decision of the old one. Exiles must wait the normal 2 weeks before reapplying to any faction and climbing the ranks as any new applicant.

a few loopholes to close.

Currently in Senate and Council.

a rejection should never be irrevocable. THere should be an ability for it to be challenged either by your way or the objectionable decison act I proposed

no. its irrevocable. being a leader means having responsiblity, means taking up your mistakes and dealing with them. sure, it is unfair for when you have a leadership change, but youll find such events are rare, and we cant have both things.

scratch that, we can.

i can just say, if a leadership position is change, the choice of exiling someone can be revoked by the new leader.
