Jedi Amendments - Passed Empty Jedi Amendments - Passed

Proposal wrote:Rank Additions:
Jedi Watchman: Is a Jedi on the Combat Specialist's path, with a high degree of skill in-game. They are better fighters then Knights and have more knowledge in how to use the various moves the game provides over multiple styles. Like a Knight a Watchman's trial is split into two areas: 1. A Test of Knowledge; 2. A Test of Skill.

Test of Knowledge: A test of knowledge consists of a battery of tests of various basic and complicated moves for each style. During which the person being trialled will do their best to demonstrate as many of the moves listed to the trialler's satisfaction. The results of which will be factored with the Test of Skill to achieve a final result.
Single Moves: Red Combos, Red Poke, Red Delay, Wiggle, Fan, Pivot, Yellow Poke, Yellow Delay, Diagonal Combo, Block, Counter, Blue Poke.
Staff Moves: Pivot, Staff Glitch, Diagonal Back-swing Ignition, Ignition Fan.
Duals Moves: Pivot, Diagonal Fan, Double Lunge, Ignition Fan.

Test of Skill: A test of skill consists of a series of duels consisting of four duels using any or all of the three styles: Single, Staff, Duals. During these tests of skill of person being trialled will do their best to defeat their trialler and the results will factor in with the Test of Knowledge to get a definite result.

To Achieve the rank of Jedi Watchman, the person in question should be able to demonstrate skills matching the following:
Sentinel Path: Being able to perform all Duals moves to the trialler's satisfaction and displaying the skill of a Sith Marauder with Duals.
Consular Path: Being able to perform all Staff moves to the trialler's satisfaction and displaying the skill of a Sith Marauder with Staff.
Guardian Path:
1. Being able to perform 50% of all Single moves to the trialler's satisfaction and displaying the skill of a Sith Marauder with Single.
2. Being able to perform all Single moves to the trialler's satisfaction and displaying the skill of a Sith Lord with Single.
Generic Path:
1. Displaying the skill of a Sith Marauder in all styles.
2. Being able to perform 50% of all listed moves and displaying the skill of a Sith Lord in all styles.

Traits:
Tag: JW
Committed to the clan.
Good to Great Skill
Decent Knowledge

Jedi Trainer: Is a Jedi on the Teacher's path who has proven themselves more knowledgable then the average Jedi Knight and has displayed they're ability to teach this knowledge. The trial for a Jedi Trainer is split into two fields: 1. A Test of Knowledge; 2. An Accessment of Attitude.

Test of Knowledge: A test of knowledge consists of a battery of tests of various basic and complicated moves for each style. During which the person being trialled will do their best to demonstrate as many of the moves listed to the trialler's satisfaction. The results of which will be factored with the Assessment of Attitude to achieve a final result.
Single Moves: Red Combos, Red Poke, Red Delay, Wiggle, Fan, Pivot, Yellow Poke, Yellow Delay, Diagonal Combo, Block, Counter, Blue Poke.
Staff Moves: Pivot, Staff Glitch, Diagonal Back-swing Ignition, Ignition Fan.
Duals Moves: Pivot, Diagonal Fan, Double Lunge, Ignition Fan.

Assessment of Attitude: Unlike other trials, an Assessment of Attitude is done as time wears on, and is an evaluation of the patience and helpfuless of the person in question. A Knight seeking to eventually become a Master must be patient, and be willing to help at all times, and as such, this is less a test then it is a constant lookout.

To achieve the rank of Jedi Trainer, the person in question must not only pass his Accessment of Attitude, but match one of the two following parameters:
1. Being able to perform 75% of all listed moves to the trialler's satisfaction and displaying the ability to teach this knowledge by having one Padawan trained to Knight.
2. Being able to perform 50% of all listed moves to the trialler's satisfaction and displaying the ability to teach this knowledge by having two Padawans trained to Knight.

Traits:
Tag: JT
Committed to the clan.
Good to Great Knowledge
Patient
Proven Teacher

Specialist Revisions:
The following requirements have been added to the already existing rank requirements for Jedi Combat Specialists: JG, JS, JC:
1. Jedi Combat Specialists(JCS) will now be trialled by all other Jedi Specialists, meaning that when a Knight or Watchman trials for a JCS rank, they will be subjected to trials by all current Guardians, Sentinels, Consulars, and Masters. They will still need 2/3rds approval from all the Jedi Specialists.
2. Jedi Combat Specialist ranks will be restricted to a maximum of five for each JCS rank(JG, JS, JC). Should the number of Specialists already be filled in a field, then when a Knight or Watchman trials for a JCS rank, they must face a current JCS of the Master Council's choosing. Should the person in question win the trial, then the JCS will be demoted back to JW.
3. Jedi Combat Specialists will be required to submit to recertification every three months by both the current Grand Master and Battle Master in order to retain their rank. If a JCS fails this recertification, then they will be demoted back to JW.

Jedi Knight Revision:
Jedi Knight: Has learned the ways of combat and patience, and is now on his own path, to become the best he can. A Jedi Knight has a crucial decision to make, to stay on the path of patience and discipline, or to change to the path of war and expertise with a blade. A Knight's trial is split into two areas: 1. A Test of Knowledge; 2. A Test of Skill.

Test of Knowledge: A Test of Knowledge consists of a battery of tests of various basic and adept moves for any style. During which the person being trialled will do their best to demonstrate as many of the moves listed to the trialler's satisfaction. The results of which will be factored with the Test of Skill to achieve a final result.
Moves: Block, Counter, Delay, Fan, Pivot, & Poke

Test of Skill: A test of skill consists of six duels using any of the three styles: Single, Staff, or Duals; the choice of which is up to the person being trialled. During this Test of Skill the person being trialled will do their best to defeat their trialler and the results will factor in with the Test of Knowledge to get a definite result.

In order to pass the trial, the person in question must fit one of the following criteria:
1. Demonstrating all listed moves to the trialler's satisfaction as well as displaying the skill of a Dark Jedi.
2. Demonstrating 50% of all listed moves to the trialler's satisfaction as well as displaying the skill of a Sith Lord.

Padawan: A Jedi Knight may take on up to 3 Padawans at a time if pursuing Master level. One if pursuing Jedi Guardian, Consular, or Sentinel and help them improve their skills in order to rank to Jedi Knight. A Jedi Knight on the path of the Master must have his Padawans approved by either the Grand Master or any of the Masters Council prior to training. Knights not on the Master path do not need to take any Padawans, but are still allowed to do so if they wish to.

Post by Spidey Mon Jun 07, 2010 4:38 pm

that means you have to have trained 3 people to JK before this goes into effect since this is the last day of this months trial week... by the end of the day you have to have a total of 3 people trained... i dont see that happening im sorry... looks like you have to get JT next month like the rest of us

Edit: so i just went through ur briefcase... and you have trained 2 already... that means one of ur pads has to pass trial today for you to get JM... and if not you have to get JT next month... someone correct me if im wrong please

well the point of this is to actually add some challenge to the Jedi Ranks in my opinion anyway, instead of doing a trial for knight which is pretty easy and then getting 3 pads to knight for Master is simple this is adding a kind of knowledge/skill trial before you go to a specialized ranks (: thats how i see it anyway

There are 20 listed moves, of those 20 moves, there are only two I cannot perform. That means I can perform 90% of the moves. 50% is only 10 moves, 75% is 15 of the moves. You can't train a Knight without knowing at least 40% of the moves you see listed.
