It's not some kind of mini-boss quest. It's a storyline quest that would be better not discovered until you try it yourself...

Actually that was canon and it's why I suggested in my book review to remove all breakable things before the last chapter. So yeah sadly it IS canon, just like the sail and mast starship full of furies....

I dont see why they felt it needed to make revan a boss, undermining his almightyness, but then again, its just a stupid quest....

i also dont see why it was necessary to establish his gender ad looks. this could of easily been fixed with masked female and male revan, chosen at the beggining by the players.

Canon Revan was described in the book as was canon Exile(now named Meetra) so they figured to use it here. As for why this is a problem, it stinks of desperation to play off the first two games. At 300 years later Revan should be dead, he didn't go through what the Emperor did, but that gets excused in both the game and book as a stasis field that keeps him alive so the Emperor can pick his brain for details. Add to it that it's a bit of an insult to say he could be taken down by two Force users and two non-Force users. You're talking about a man that waded through the dead bodies of hundreds of Sith Apprentices, disarmed a trained Knight fallen to the darkside, and took down Malak twice in a row without a breather. He shouldn't have been in the game, he should have manipulated events for the Republic as much as he could, and then died hundreds of years ago.

yeah, i think bioware fucked up giving him a boss position. thats pretty much the only problem i have. that and giving him a gender. that is a total developer failure. even i could of fucking built it so it remained undisclosed.

Dray IT'S BEEN DISCLOSED his features have been fully described in a book, there's no reason not to use them.

Yes, but it's already been released regardless, to ignore it and keep going is basically pointless.

it's kinda weird these days, some folks say the game supersedes the book. But never really know to what extent

This does make me sad almost depressed being an avid revan fan since KOTOR <---(name gives it away) i think it's silly they had him killed by a party of low levels. but i still do want this game, why? because it's starwars thats the whole need for it. i love stories, but i love battles, and most of all i love star wars so i'll still buy this game. but attempt to see if i can keep revan alive in my story, hopfully that will work out.

well the guy was in stasis for 300 years, he was beaten to death basically, and he just woke up. plus, he was already getting old. i mean, you could barely beat up a fucking gamorrean in the begginign of KOTOR.

if it was a party of high level chars, like a raid, it would of been feesible. i think maknig it so low level and so low numbered in players kinda ruins it.

I agree with dray. it is plausible that revan had lost his strength in the statis, but still, he's a classic, bioware should have known that and made him super high leveld so that only max level characters could even duel him let alone beat him
