Chapter 22 “I never got your name”
En Route to Coruscant.
“Back there in Coronet. Why weren’t you using your jet pack?” ArcSinµ questioned as he stared out into hyperspace.
“Ran out of fuel trying to get away.” Her eyes widened a bit at the thought of something, “Which reminds me; I need to borrow some of yours.” Sabanna got up and walked out leaving her helmet on the chair.
As hear metallic steps drifted away, the sith folded his arms and leaned back into his seat. Opening up to the mesmerizing wormhole. Once again the memories and images came back; the planet of Tatooine, dunes, the temple; their master, instructing them on the darkside and how to bend the force to their will. Revealing how the jedi sat on their cradle of power, deceiving their own people that they were protected. Peace is a lie.
An image of their ceremony to the clan appeared; beginning the start of their new lives. The individuals moved around like ghosts through fog, never staying completely solid for too long. The memories only lasted a few seconds before being abruptly cut off. It aggravated him that he couldn’t recall ever actually being there. He wondered if his brother had made any progress on this problem.
“I feel it too, ArcSinµ. We may never solve this mystery.” CoSinµ lingered in his mind for awhile then left. The sith shook himself back to reality and sensed Sabanna was back in the co pilot seat; wiping her helmet with her glove. She looked at him.
“I never got your name-“ She began
“High Lord-“ Sabanna cut him off with a wave of her hand signaling him to stop.
“Your real name.” She said putting meaning in her tone.
ArcSinµ thought for a split second and noticed he had no idea. He never had a reason to think about it. His duty to the Empire; to the Sith, was the only thing he cared about. He was their instrument and that was all that mattered. The memories did have him questioning things. Without turning to her, “That name doesn’t exist.”
He guessed he just lied to her. She wouldn’t know either way since the truth was literally lost in his mind. ‘Could it be some type of barrier?’ he asked himself.
Sabanna smirked, “If I got a credit for every time you sith folks told me that excuse…”. She looked at the console and pressed a few keys. Sabanna rose from her chair and started to walk out, “We’re about to hit Coruscant in a few minutes. I’m going to get my things.” She donned her helmet and as the cockpit door slid shut behind her.
ArcSinµ went over the plan in his head again. There was just one part he didn’t like the most. He had to walk straight up the stairs into the Jedi’s temple; alone. Sabanna would be waiting for him on a balcony to get in from another way. He would have to keep a force sense somewhat low so they couldn’t stop him outside. There was a possible chance sentries might be outside. Once inside, he would activate the tracking beacon to start the chaos…
Chapter 23 “The Temple”
This was in fact, ArcSinµ’s first sight of the galaxy’s capital. The entire planet was one big city; from orbit the city was a blaze of lights and sparkling colors. There was no visible sign of land or any oceans. The whole surface was littered with sprawling kilometer high skyscrapers. He had read that if you were to fall of one them, you could fall for hours.
“It’s a beauty, isn’t it?” Sabanna said. The large dome of the senate building loomed in the distance as ArcSinu flew the freighter in the numerous lanes for speeders and other flying vessels. Upsetting that these people were oblivious to what was about to happen to their world, their home, the galaxy. Now the sun was slowly ebbing away brining in the afternoon.
“There it is.” Sabanna pointed out ahead. The temple stood on its own away from the taller buildings. The temple had an appearance of a fortress. Five towers crowned the massive structure, as if they were watch towers. The Temple Court surrounding the building was empty, no pedestrians were in sight; nor jedi. It didn’t look right.
“The Dark Lord asked for the impossible…” ArcSinµ said as he guided the freighter to the court to land…illegally.
Sabanna was already checking her suits systems. Gears inside her suit could be heard adjusting, small vents along her armor vented some type of vapor with a hiss. She looked at her arm checking her datapad. A mini projection of the temple sprouted out; revealing a detailed layout of the structure. Their Imperial Agents truly were useful. Once she went of the schematic, she clicked another button. A view of a Republic drop ship came into view; a countdown lock ticked away under the image. Ten minutes.
“Let’s move.” Sabanna walked out of the cockpit holstering her blaster pistols towards the ramp, followed closely by ArcSinµ. That drop ship Sabanna had showed him was his trump card. If for some reason that ship didn’t do as planned, there’s a high chance he wouldn’t make it out of the temple alive. He wouldn’t go down without a fight either way.
The two strolled across the Court in a brisk walk. It was night time now; the darkness would help hide anyone from seeing them from afar. The temples strobe lights came on. The only sound came from their footsteps and vehicles traveling past the temple at a distance. Up ahead, at the top of the stairs, was the main entrance. Four giant statues loomed over the entrance. As they approached the foot of the grand stairs, ArcSinµ gave Sabanna the nod for her to begin her part of the plan. She activated her jetpack and launched into the air to the balcony. The sentries heard the nose but didn’t see anything, they passed off the sound.
ArcSinµ marched up the long stairs, branching out his awareness as slightly as possible to make sure no one was watching him. Even if it was night time, there was nothing wrong caution. He was certain his trump card could arrive late, and if he did those Jedi will have a run for their credits trying to take him down. Above the main entrance, he could see Sabanna kneeled in front of an open vent that she had opened. Her helmet was off as she watched the sith continue his climb. She made signs with her hands signaling him there were two sentries posted at the front.
He could mildly sense them; both completely unaware of their last moments. Finally, he climbed the last step and there they were. Just normal security, simple. One of them saw his approach. The man tapped his partner and pointed at the figure. The guard smirked, “This a joke?”
Now ArcSinµ was a few feet away. He kept his attention on the two, not breaking his stride.
“I have to be honest; I’ve never seen a Tusken this far away from home.” The guard inspected the figure, “Especially a red one…”
The other guard took a step forward raising his hand to stop ArcSinµ,” Sir, I’m going to have to ask you to le-“The sith had already with lightning speed slashed through his torso diagonally. His face was held in shock while his hands let go of his weapon. The other guard was already raising his rifle as he saw his partner brought down. [color=blue]Arc{/color]Sinµ turned towards the man and shot his hand out towards him, sending a strong blast of Force. Slamming the guard into one of the nearby statues with, shattering his spine.
The sith checked his surroundings, then looked up at Sabanna and gave her another nod. She returned the gesture and donned her helmet as she walked into the vent.
Chapter 24 “The Roar”
ArcSinµ stepped over the guard’s lifeless body through the main doors into the temple. The second his foot hit the floor, the stench of the light side washed over him like bantha poodoo. The feel and odor made him gag a little behind his mask. He shook his head a bit to stop from getting too dizzy. The Jedi had obviously felt his presence, and he clearly wasn’t welcome. The Force was filled with confusion and anger. While walking further into the main hall, it was still dark with dimly lit lamps stretching all the way to the other side and up into the numerous balconies above him. The Sith kept his pace as he noticed out of the corner of his visor, people were looking down upon him. The Jedi were sticking to the shadows, trying to figure if this was a trick.
Up ahead, he spotted a lone Jedi walking directly towards him from across the hall. ArcSinµ could tell he was wearing light armor underneath his robes. In his hand was a lightsaber. The sith decided to stop his advance, believing this was far enough in for the next stage of the operation begin. The Jedi continued to walk towards him, his expression stoned solid as steel. Just as the man reached only a couple of steps in front of ArcSinµ four more Jedi, hooded, descended from the balconies and landed behind the man with their sabers lit. Their blue and green hues lighting up the dark hallway. The Jedi standing in front of ArcSinµ kept his full attention on the sith. ArcSinµ could feel the jedi pressing his power against his to see if he would fall back. The sith easily returned the favor, reminding the Jedi what he was in for. An insect had just flown in between them and was immiediatly crushed by the two powerful force sensitive’s auras.
“What is your business here, sith?” The leading Jedi asked sternly.
With a simple thought, ArcSinµ activated his beacon. A beep echoed from within his robes. The jedi wielding their sabers took a step back expecting an explosion of some sort, except their leader.
“I’m master Haize, acting as Grand Master of this order. I’ll ask again. What is your-“ All of the jedi looked past ArcSinµ towards the main doors. Bright spot lights came on in the blackness of night. The group of Jedi took another step back. ArcSinµ smiled through his mask as he heard the roar of the engines at full power coming from the drop ship. Seconds later, the nose of the ship smashed through the entrance. Shock and fear spread through the Force all around the sith. He soaked it in, preparing for the battle that was about to begin. The Jedi named Haize found his calm, and retook the steps he had given away earlier. He stood his ground, his saber still off. He looked into the dark visor of ArcSinµ’s mask, as he fought back his anger.
The ship crashed through the heavy columns of the temple tearing them apart easily. The wings of the drop ship ripped off from colliding with the structures. Violently turning it on side as it slammed into the floor; destroying the floor beneath it, cutting a giant gash in the hall. The temple rumbled all around them as the temple fought against the sudden kinetic energy of the ship. The craft lost speed as it slid across the floor, before stopping just 10 meters behind ArcSinµ. All around them was the crackling of debris and screams. The ship was on its side, and its cargo doors were pointing to the ceiling. With a loud creak, the doors slid open.
“Your time has come Jedi.” ArcSinµ spoke,” Everything burns.” His lightsaber slid out of his sleeve into his hand.
Chapter 25 “Crimson Sabers”
A massive wave of Dark Side energy flooded out of the cargo hold. Dozens of Crimsons sabers spurred to life, showing a bright red beacon out of the hold. Sensing the increasing danger, more jedi came to stand behind their acting Grand master. Suddenly, a horde of Sith Warriors leaped out of the cargo hold like a ferocious beast. Incased in heavy dark armor, yelling as one in extreme intensity. Haize and the Jedi rushed forward to combat the attack. ArcSinµ snapped his saber on and followed his brethren into combat. The two forces clashed into a giant mob as blades swung and flew in all directions. Force lightning flying from one or two sith, surging across the air frying their opponents.
Security personel poured in from the balconies and fired their weapons into the crowd trying to hit their sith targets. Doors on the ground level opened up, revealing more guards trying to help the jedi. Up above, a wall blew out, sending multiple Jedi and guards to their deaths. A Mandalorian rocketed out of the hole, blasters blazing. Sabanna flew down around the increasing carnage firing off shots; taking down everyone she hit.
ArcSinµ managed to find Haize and fought him. The sith launched wave after wave of aggressive blows, while the jedi hastily dodged the near hits. They easily countered and parried each other, and ArcSinµ grew frustrated trying to find an open spot to take him down. Every couple of seconds, they had to disengage to deflect stray bolts or dodge flying sabers heading across the hall to get back into fighting each other. Haize’s expression was full of calm, but he was desperately attempting to hold the sith back. ArcSinµ faked an over head strike, causing Haize to bring his saber up above his head. But instead, the sith spun and sweeped his leg, brining the jedi down onto his back. As the sith came about, ArcSinµ twirled his saber around and brought it down with great force. The Jedi had already rolled away and leaped back up.
Behind him, two rockets zoomed directly over his head towards a pack of guards. Incinerating them on impact, Sabanna flew over the battle to keep the guards at bay. She continued to pepper them with her pistols. Three Jedi ran into ArcSinµ’s way of getting to Haize. One after another they attacked him. Each with varying styles that became hard to fight. Nearby sith saw the ambush and rushed in to help. Together as they cut them down, ArcSinµ turned to look for Haize, until he suddenly appeared in his face. ArcSinµ rolled to the left, nearly dodging a fast horizontal slash. Then came up and threw his hand at him, sending a powerful blast of force energy; sending haize crashing through a pile of debris from the ceiling. Just as ArcSinµ was about to approach him, another Jedi stood in his path. It was a padawan. The tusken quickly pointed his hand at the girl and barraged her with force lightning. Quickly charring her skin then sent into a column violently. She didn’t get up.
On the other side of the debris, Haize dueled against two other sith. Seeing an opportunity, ArcSinµ threw his saber at Haizes back. As the saber flew to its target, ArcSinµ ducked yet another slash and with augmented force strength, punched the Jedi across the face. Breaking every bone, dropping the person to the floor in a heap. ArcSinµ looked back at Haize and saw him barely leap over his blade; just barely cutting his armor, causing a sparks to fly. Seeing the miss, ArcSinµ bounded over the rubble and called his saber back. Haize had already taken care of his attackers but didn’t sense ArcSinµ’s approach from above until almost too late. Haize looked up to block, then the sith slammed his blade down; sending both their blades into the ground. Haizes saber was underneath ArcSinµ's, and they shared a momentary glance at each other, until the sith head butted him. Haize doubled back, blinded with pain.
Finally seeing a chance, ArcSinµ twirled his blade as he spun in the Jedi’s direction then jabbed hard into his abdomen. Burying his blade deep into his torso, up to the hilt; haize’s calm expression had fallen away. He looked down at the saber as the sith ripped it out of him. Somewhere over the battle, a girl’s voice screamed from a balcony, “No!” ArcSinµ sensed the source and looked. He saw a little padawan in tears. From behind her, a group of Jedi grabbed her and fled. The High Lord signaled a pack of sith to follow. They leaped out of the dying down battle and gave chase.
ArcSinµ looked back to Haize and noticed he was on his knees now. The sith hadn’t realized they had made it all the way back to the ruined entrance. The Jedi was looking outside into the night, grief stricken just before he fell forward.
Coruscant was ablaze.
Chapter 26 “Bombarding”
Sith Battle cruisers dominated the skies bombarding the city below. Skyscrapers burned and fell in thousands. Citizens fell from their homes and plummeted to their deaths. Plants and factories blew up in huge fire balls. Sith Interceptors flew in packs shooting at anything and everything. They chased fleeing vehicles and shot them down as well. The skies were think with smoke and destruction. All over bright orange and red hues sprouted from the clouds of smoke, noting massive explosions. Republic fights attempted to scramble but were easily over whelmed from Battle and Bulk cruiser batteries.
Imperial transports landed in droves, dropping off hundreds of troops. They fired shots into massive crowds; including the innocent. The Sinusoid's flew over nearby showering the military sector with turbo fire, in an attempt to burn the place to the ground.
ArcSinµ continued to stand by the entrance and watched the spectacle. They had done the impossible. From behind he heard Sabanna flying over to him. “Looks like we’re done here.” She holstered her pistols. “The rest of the Jedi are being mopped up.” Her armor was covered in blaster scars and dents. “Quite a few made it to their transports though…” She pointed into the night sky. He followed her direction and saw them. Interceptors were picking them off one by one, dropping the republic transports like flies. Barely a few made it past the slaughter.
“They’ll soon be found.” ArcSinµ turned to look back inside. Bodies were everywhere. Sith checked the bodies for survivors. They stuck their blades into Jedi’s backs if any of them gave the slightest hint of being alive. Didn’t matter if they were just wounded either. A few were captured. The sith holding them down on their knees looked in ArcSinµ’s direction for a command. He nodded, and the warriors cut the prisoners down without a thought. A few of them laughed at the carnage was the two walked though. Then one of the warriors walked up to him and bowed.
“High Lord Skorp wants us out of the temple. He wants this placed buried. Your craft is waiting for you outside.” The warrior bowed once more.
===============
“A job well done, ArcSinµ.” Skorp’s holo image said. “Now to put the Jedi in their graves and wipe out the Republic’s last hope. Take out the temple.”
Within moments, the Sinusoid's were positioned over the temple. The cruisers turbo lasers angled down at its target and began to charge.
“Batteries will be ready momentarily, my Lord.” One of the bridge officers said.
Down below, straggling Sith Warriors ran out of the temple. Sith Interceptors cleared the air space and gave way. Frigates and other starships that had defeated the Republic Navy in orbit came in atmosphere to see the event. Imperial Troopers on ground turned towards the temple as well to watch.
“Batteries, 100% charged; my Lord. Our sister ship reports the same.”
“Fire at will. I want it flattened.”
As one, the cruisers opened fired upon the temple, in a violent crowning moment. Everyone on the bridge sat in silence as the temple quickly succumbed to the barrage. The structure became engulfed a massive fire ball. The cannons continued to blast into the inferno as an act of overkill. The towers fell into the blaze and disappeared.
Once satisfied, ArcSinµ raised his hand and the officer blared out a cease fire across the ships frequency. It took a few seconds longer than usually for the cannons to stop firing. He didn’t mind, he enjoyed the show. As the smoke died away, they were left with a view of a huge flaming crater that once was the temple.
“We have an incoming transmission from Dromund Kaas Citadel, putting it through.”
Aragorn’s voice came on,” We now have the Republic by its throats. The senate just witnessed the attack of their capital from Alderaan. The rest of the Jedi are scrambling back. Its time to pull out; get your men and fleets, we’re done here for now.” Then the transmission abruptly ended.
Among the whole fleet on Coruscant, there was confusion. No one wanted to leave, they had pulled off something incredible and took the capital of the galaxy! Skorp once again, came on annoyed asking numerous rhetorical questions no one knew. Until finally he gave the command to retreat. ArcSinµ’s crew turned to him for orders. He could sense they wanted to stay.
“We live to fight another day…” CoSinµ said through the force. “The Dark Lord I guess has something more in store for us.”
It took three days for the Armada to gather their assests and broke orbit. The atmosphere was littered with debris from the initial battle, a massive graveyard. ArcSinµ took his last glance at Coruscant just before his cruiser jumped to light speed.
En Route to Rendezvous
The High Lord stood at the viewport once more. His mask down to his side. His red hair wasn’t as dark as it use to be. He had aged without noticing. The last time he had seen a reflection of himself was decades ago. He was so young then. He could barely remember his own brother’s face too. His eyes flickered yellow again, grabbing a few of the bridge crew’s attention for a bit. Another memory of his master’s death at the hands of the Jedi appeared again.
“Your thoughts betray you, my apprentice…” A familiar voice spoke from behind him.

===============
