PART 1
Chapter 1 “You Corellians”
Above the planet of Tatooine, a cargo ship was being attacked by Black Sun mercenaries. The cargo ships’ shields wouldn’t last much longer with the constant barrage of cannon fire. The ship was carrying stolen Spice, a mother, father and their two infant sons.
“Sasha, get the boys in the escape pod! Strap them in now!” The father yelled. The controls were smoking from internal damage. The ship was dropping towards the desert planet.
“Its ok Red, Beaner, mother’s here.” She held them close, kissing each of them on the forward. Holding them close.
“Kriff!” The father’s voice echoed though the ship over the explosions. The ship dipped forward a bit further than expected.
“Sasha, go to the escape pod and get out of here! There’s nothing more I can do.” The father’s had a tight grip on the yoke, while the other dashed across the control panel trying to keep the ship alive.
“I’m not leaving without you, Jun!” Sasha pulled herself into the copilot’s seat, and strapped herself in.
“Oh no,” Jun looked at his wife, just realizing something.”If we launched the pod, they’ll think it was us and blast it to hell…” He shook his head in frustration, there was to many things going on.
“I’m dumping the spice, Its useless to us now…”
“No! We need that to pay off the Hutts ,if we don’t they’ll come after us!”
“Sasha, we’re as good as dead anyway!” Jun punched the release button for the cargo.
“How long did you really think, you could run from us? Hide, from us?” One of the mercs that spoke was Mandalorian. Surprisingly, his armor’s color reflected the surface; sand-gold. His T-shaped visor was black. He held a Verpine Sniper rifle.
“You Corelians must like pissing the Hutts off. You do realize Black Sun are allies with them…” A weequay spoke up.
“We are to bring you in, Dead…or alive.” The Mandalorian started walking towards Jun and Sasha; loading a clip into his rifle. “I’d rather see the both of you dead.”
“Wait! Just wait!”Jun pleaded holding onto Sasha. “What if we split the share, 50-50?” The mercenaries laughed, looking at each other.
“The Hutt Cartel pays a lot more than the spice you two just dumped…” The Mandalorian kept his attention on his rifle, making a few setting changes as he got closer to the couple. “You should be thanking me for this.” He placed the barrel of the rifle to Jun’s head. “Just imagine what the Hutt Cartel would do to you two…”
Chapter 2 “Sand Storm”
“What……those……sounds?”
“No...Nothing….Don’t!”
“Calm child, you will soon be set free.”
“What….On?” The muffled voice yelled out.
“Oh…Help!”
Chapter 3 “Sand People”
“What the…”
“Now look, I don’t know if you people understand Basic, but I have no business with you or your kind.” The people continued to surround him. They were holding some type of sticks, with a spike at the end. “Wait just a minute, kill me and my organization will place a bounty on every single one of you so big, Mandalore himself might actually get interested!” He hollered. His hand twitched around his rifle. He wished he had his jetpack with him…it was inside his buried ship.
“Where the kriff did that thing get such an object?” He murmured to himself. “Didn’t know this pathetic species had any kind of modern technology…” He aimed his rifle at the being.
“You’ve got to be kidding me!” He slowly crawled back. The being didn’t say a word. It started to walk forward as the other’s around him waved their staffs in the air and shouted a chant. The Mando looked at them in bewilderment. He struggled to aim his rifle with one hand at the being. He fired off another shot. Once again deflected back, but this time it glanced off his helmet. Nearly taking a direct hit.
“Only a Jedi has that weapon.” He fired a third shot. It was redirected into the ground. The being continued his approach. At that moment, the being broke into a run at the Mando. He unloaded his entire clip as he yelled. The being blocked and easily dodged every shot. When it got within striking distance, it sliced off the mando’s hand holding the weapon. He screamed at the stump. The other individuals around him chanted louder.
“I thought you Jedi were peaceful, you kriffing-“His words were choked up as his windpipe slowly sealed up. Instinctively, he reached for his throat but felt no presence there. He noticed he was no longer on the ground. The beings arm was out stretched towards his neck, its hand gradually turning to a fist. His head shook violently as his lungs screamed for oxygen.
“Peace,” The being finally spoke,” Is a [/i]lie.” It clenched its hand into a tight fist. A loud crunch from the Mando stopped his movements. The being lowered his arm and the body dropped to the ground. The sand people silenced.
Chapter 4 “Sleep…”
“Rest…” The voice spoke in their heads.
Chapter 5 “Sinµsoidal”
“My lord, are you sure we should be taking these two to the academy?” One of the sand people yelled out.
“We haven’t had candidates this young for a long time, you should know that Nomad.” The individual kept his voice calm, and settled.
“We weren’t even supposed to leave the temple; not attempt a rescue…” Nomad responded over the wind. He was leading the pack up a sandbank. “We’re suppose to stay hidden…no witnesses.”
“There are no witnesses, you saw that yourself.”
“They easily could’ve sent out a signal to their employers…”Nomad did not like the possible outcome. “This isn’t the first time you defied the Dark Council. Haven’t you noticed they are planning something? Something huge…”
“If the Hutt’s and Black Sun send an army after us, so be it. How would they find us Nomad? And so what about this master plan with the Council and the Dark Lord? We’ve been waiting for this plan now for more than 300 hundred years.
“Sinµsoidal, what do you expect from these two?” Nomad gave the carrier a glance.
“The best, as well as the legacy of my tribe.”
“What if the Dark Lord arrives and takes them?” Nomad looked at the pod, checking to see if the boys were still sleeping.
“He won’t.”
Chapter 6 “You Know The Rule, No Attachments…”
“Aragorn won’t be pleased Sinµ-“Nomad began to say, but was cut off.
“I don’t need to hear any more about the Dark Lord..”
“We’ve been friends since we first stepped into this academy. I’ve watched your back and kept the council at bay for as long as I can. This, I’m guessing is your ‘last act of defiance’ could get all of us killed, Sinµsoidal.” Nomad pointed out, looking directly at him. “You’re not over her death…aren’t you?”
“Don’t.”
“You know the rule, no attachments…”Nomad struggled to say, but kept his calm.
“How long do you think this will last?” Nomad asked. “He’ll soon find out your hiding those boys.” He pointed to the pod.
“They will be ready.”
Chapter 7 “Erased.”
“You’ve gotten quicker at shatterpoint…”Nomad walked up next to him. “Time to get up.”
Sinµsoidal waved his hand in front of the children’s faces. The boys began to stir immediately. Their eyes opened slowly as their awareness of where they were came in.
“Now listen carefully.” Sinµsoidal leaned in closer. “You have lost everything you ever cared about. The life you once knew is now gone; erased. You will now embark on a new chapter; a new journey in your lives. The path that awaits you will be painful beyond anything your other existence has given you so far. You’ll be forced to let go of everything you fear to lose. You will realize that peace is a lie. Passion will exist in your hearts. Your strength, will give you power. The power you will soon achieve, will unlock the taste of victory. With that, the chains that has slaved your souls will be broken. The Force will set you free.

Sasha ran to the boys who were crying and screaming to the violent turbulence from the pursuing Black Sun fighters. She quickly grabbed them out of their seats in the cabin, into her arms. The boys were only 6 years old. As Sasha ran for the escape, she struggled to balance against the rocking of the ship while heading for the escape pod. Towards the back end of the ship, she reached the escape pod door. After punching in the release codes, the door opened. Inside was slightly cramped; Sasha crouched in and placed her sons into their seats. Another blast pitched the ship over, dimming the lights around her for a few seconds. One by one, Sasha clipped the harnesses onto her sons. Tears ran down her eyes as she realized these were possibly the last moments she’ll ever see them. Canon fire streaked past the view port towards the end of the pod. The boys continued to cry, having no clue what was going on and the danger they were in.
“Its ok Red, Beaner, mother’s here.” She held them close, kissing each of them on the forward. Holding them close.
“Kriff!” The father’s voice echoed though the ship over the explosions. The ship dipped forward a bit further than expected.
Sasha gathered herself and jumped out of the escape pod. She closed the door and locked the sons inside. She blew them one last kiss and ran for the cockpit. The boys continued to call their mother, but she didn’t return. The ship titled once again to its side, this time slamming Sasha into the hull. She stumbled a bit, but kept her pace. Finally she staggered into the cockpit. Lights all around the panels were flashing warning lights. The whole room was full of warning sirens, screeching for attention.
The nose of the craft now pointed directly at the desert planet of Tatooine. The brown sandy sphere dominated their view port, along with stray laser’s streaking past. “Bloah, Two of the engines are gone! Im gonna try and land this thing on the surface.” Jun pulled back on the yoke in an attempt to make a safe reentry. They soon breached the atmosphere just in time. The temperature of the craft rapidly heated up inside. With most of the electronics fried, they were cooking. Behind them, the cannon fire stopped. The Black Sun mercenaries paced close behind as they entered the atmosphere.
“I’m dumping the spice, Its useless to us now…”
“No! We need that to pay off the Hutts ,if we don’t they’ll come after us!”
“Sasha, we’re as good as dead anyway!” Jun punched the release button for the cargo.
Once they dropped out of the atmosphere, a thick stream of spice rose out of the container. Immediately seeing this, the mercenaries open fired again. They blew out another engine. Now the ship was flying at a sharp 45 degree angle. The descent was rapid, the landscape closed in. Canyons carved from vast long dried up oceans flew by beneath them. Then the endless sea of sand engulfed their view, extending all the way to the horizon. Dunes, after dunes. The cargo ship was now skimming just along the surface, trying to dodge the dune hills. Then, from the strain, their last engine blew out. For a few seconds, Jun and Sasha felt weightless as the ship glided forward. Just before, it bounced off a dune, jolting the ship rigorously. The ship came down once again, skidding into the sand, beginning to turn sideways. The ship went over a small hill, turning it end over end. The force of the roll broke the escape pod out of its clamps sending it shooting out a couple of meters. Hull and metal flung off in all directions. Until, finally, the ship laid at rest on its belly. It carved a 200m gash in the sand. The escape pod bounced a bit and stopped; lodged halfway into the sand.
Above, the pursuing Black Sun circled the crash zone checking for survivors. After a few moments, they landed around the ship. All of 5 of them. As the ships powered down, Jun and Sasha, crawled out of the blown out viewport. Covered in blood, and glass. The mercenaries began their walk towards the survivors.
Inside the escape pod, the boys could hear muffled sounds of engines, then voices that couldn’t be understood. Outside the viewport, all they could see was an endless sea of sand. Gusts whipped up short bursts of sand. Shifting it around like it was a living organism. Particles racked the hull, every couple of seconds. The boys remained strapped into their harnesses and they didn’t know how to get out. They woke up from being unconscious a few moments ago. As they woke, pain raked their chests from where the straps chaffed at their skin. Now, they were trying to discover the secret to getting out of them. Suddenly, a blaster sounded outside and aloud scream reached their ears. Within the boy’s hearts, an urging pain ripped at them. Their eyes started to tear, as if something was missing from their soul. Tears shed as they cryied, trying to understand the throbbing. Nearby, the same muffled voice yelled out…
“What……those……sounds?”
“No...Nothing….Don’t!”
Outside, more movement was heard. As it got closer, Red felt a pulse of confidence touch his shoulder and a voice spoke in his head.
“Calm child, you will soon be set free.”
Red looked at Beaner, and realized he felt and heard the same thing. In the viewport, the sand was blowing thick in the air. Turning into a flash sand storm, which was common to the planet.
“What….On?” The muffled voice yelled out.
“Oh…Help!”
Chapter 3 “Sand People”
The Mandalorian held onto Sasha with a death grip next to Jun’s lifeless body. All around them, sand covered their field of view. He couldn’t see his hand or the rest of his crew. So he had anchored himself to her. The blizzard continued to howl and rattle around them like a beast. Sasha tried to shield her face with her hand. The sun itself was practically blocked out. It was dark. Then it happened, one of his crew screamed through the blizzard, subsequently followed by abrupt silence. Unexpectedly, the whirling sand dropped as one to the ground. Sunlight engulfed the Mandalorian, blinding him for a second. As he opened his eyes, the landscape around them had changed. They were in a wide perfectly flat circle. The sky was clear and the bounty hunters ships were nearly buried in sand. Some parts of their crafts were missing. Pieces of the wings were torn off. The glass shields over the cockpits were blasted out. The engines were choked with sand. All of them. The Mandalorian turned to see the ship him and his crew chased down here, almost buried to the top into the ground. When he felt his grip slack around Sasha’s arm a bit, he looked down at her and jumped back a bit in shock. Half her face was shredded by the sand, all the way to the bone. The body slumped over into the ground. He couldn’t even see Jun’s body. It was gone. He needed to get out of here. He turned back to his ship and saw a lone figure standing at the edge of the flattened circle, about a 100 meters away. Seeing that, he was about to call for his men, until he saw numerous bodies on the ground where they had recently stood moments before. All of them had spears embedded into their bodies.
“What the…”
The Mandalorian turned his attention back to the figure. This time it was closer. ‘It must’ve been a native of the planet’, he thought. The figure was covered in ragged clothes. It wore a mask, goggles or a visor covered its eyes. A mouth piece covered the area between what would have been their nose and mouth. It also wore rags to cover its feet. The mando had heard rumors about these…people. Folks called them ‘sand people’, the last time he checked. The figure started walking towards him. Then from behind it, seven other beings spread out to surround him.
The figure he had primarily seen, shouldered its ‘stick’. Then reached inside of its garbs and pulled out a long aged bone, which looked like a tooth from something big. The mando took a closer look with his visor’s vision magnified, noticing the tooth wasn’t entirely bone. There was some type of metal, wires, buttons crafted into it.
“Where the kriff did that thing get such an object?” He murmured to himself. “Didn’t know this pathetic species had any kind of modern technology…” He aimed his rifle at the being.
A split second before he pulled the trigger, a meter long crimson red beam protruded from the base of the tooth and deflected the bolt back at the Mando. Hitting him in the shoulder and knocking him flat on his back. The shot went through his armor and clean through, causing him to groan on impact.
Back inside the pod, the boys could feel the presence of the voice outside. They could feel it moving closer and closer. Figures were moving outside the viewport. Their shadows were seen. Then one of them looked inside abruptly, mask pressed against the glass. The boys jumped in surprise and screamed a little. The figure moved away.
“Rest…” The voice spoke in their heads.
As their eyes closed, they saw the sand quickly fall away.
Chapter 5 “Sinµsoidal”
The pod was carefully levitated by the individual with the lightsaber. As one, the sand people fell back into single file line and left the carnage behind. None of them made a sound while they trekked across the Dune Sea. Neither the sun nor the gusts of wind had any effect on them. They were completely oblivious to the planets natural elements.
Silence hung over the pack once more. The man levitating the escape pod had a valid point. Generations of Sith have been waiting to act out this plan and nothing had happened. Nomad shook his head a slightly. Hours have gone by now. Tatooine’s twin sun’s shined high in the school baking the sand, rippling the horizon with heat waves. Then the line stopped and they branched out into a small half circle. Nomad walked forward a few steps and waved his hand at the ground a couple meters away. Within moments, a rocky opening erected from the sand. Torches were seen deep inside lighting the way. Two people from the group walked inside, followed by the individual caring the pod and Nomad. The others turned and walked away. A group of Banthas crawled out of the ground and shaking their heads. They walked over to them and saddled on. The banthas turned and headed into the desert.
As the other group walked in, Nomad stopped a few steps in. He looked back at the opening and waved his hand again. Sand covered back over the opening. When it sealed shut, everyone but the hauler of the pod shed their masks and garbs. They were wearing dark armor underneath; each of them had a unique design pertaining to their forte. Nomad was a Marauder, heavily built man with scars all over his face. His head cleanly shaved, covered with ancient sith tattoos. He reached back and covered his head with his cloak. The two other people in the party were warriors; they were not as muscular as nomad but athletic. Their armor was thick around their arms, legs, and chest; the typical fighting force in the Sith Empire. Lastly, they were also identical twins. While the group walked further into the tunnel…
“Sinµsoidal, what do you expect from these two?” Nomad gave the carrier a glance.
“The best, as well as the legacy of my tribe.”
Nomad widened his eyes alittle. Being brought into the Sinµsoid tribe without actually being related to anyone within, was considered a high honor. The recipient would be given a new name. A name that was somehow unique. It was said only the Force knows the meaning behind it. There have been two other ‘recent’ recipients, but they were related to the tribe beforehand. However, the Dark Lord took them off planet; never to be heard from again.
“What if the Dark Lord arrives and takes them?” Nomad looked at the pod, checking to see if the boys were still sleeping.
“He won’t.”
Chapter 6 “You Know The Rule, No Attachments…”
They reached the ending of the cave and an Ancient Temple was brought into view. The immense temple sat in an enormous cavern at the center. Carvings dating back to for centuries covered the structure from peak to foundation. A section at the very top housed a giant red crystal, it glowed. Bulky torches brightened the surrounding areas of the cavern, giving the temple an eerie look. At the base of the structure were two sentries. On their chests was a signature ‘µ’, they were sand people. When the party got closer to the wide stone doors, the sentries moved aside and the doors opened with a rumble. Inside was a platform with a red lever on the floor. The group walked in, one of the twins flicked his finger and the level activated. The platform descended down a shaft. The walls transitioned to rock, presenting the different layers of the planet.
Sinµsoidal dropped the pod on the platform, making a loud clang. He reached out with his hand towards Nomad’s neck and gripped. Lifting him of the ground with ease. Nomad didn’t flinch nor struggled, he gazed into the depths of Sinµsoidal’s visor on his mask. He had experienced worst things then this. The twins watching the event did nothing.
“Don’t.”
“You know the rule, no attachments…”Nomad struggled to say, but kept his calm.
With a sigh he let go of Nomad. He was right. The Dark Lord had killed his lover. These two boys that slept in the escape pod would be the key to killing Aragorn. The Dark Lord had also killed his two sons. The ones that there taken away. He brought his sons up with hatred to take revenge against the Dark Lord. Sinµsoidal knew they were dead the second he sensed their life force rip away from existence. Since then, everyday he had mourned for their deaths. Now, he finally found two highly force sensitive children. He sensed them the second they had entered the system. He vowed to train them in secret once he had gotten a hold on them. The walls finally opened up presenting a sprawling cavern the size of a city full of life. Sand people with the ‘µ’ attached to their garbs walked around and other sith coexisted as a community. The Sith still dominated most of the population and were in control. Buildings, state of the art architecture, housed sith acolytes, masters and classrooms; including duel arenas. Sith acolytes were out in the arenas fighting with their masters watched.
“How long do you think this will last?” Nomad asked. “He’ll soon find out your hiding those boys.” He pointed to the pod.
“They will be ready.”
Chapter 7 “Erased.”
After walking through the crowds of Sith and sand people, they stepped inside of a steel structure and entered through a locked door. Only Nomad and Sinµsoidal knew of the pass. Sinµsoidal placed the pod down in the center of the room. On the walls were numerous objects; a collection. Nomad had just placed the Mandalorian’s helmet on the wall to a plaque. Sinµsoidal was standing next to the pod starring at it.He knelt down beside it and rubbed his hand across the hull. He lowered his head as his hand traveled around. After a few minutes, his hand stopped. He found what he was searching for. With a slight press, the pod cracked in half; horizontally from the front to the engines. The pieces split apart and rolled back. The boys were still asleep.
