i think the world pollution is a tad overblown. countries and even companies are starting to invest on the renewable energy market, seeing as they have no liability in running out of it, and the tech i believe is FINALLY sufficiently productive. its just going too slow thou.

Because the oil companies are in league with the western powers. Big Oil sponsors and provides its own candidates to the US election, just look at Bush.
