Re: TSA, they want your body..
@Nihil Like I said, reasonable security is fine, a metal detector doesn't invade your privacy. The new scanners do, and as well give an unsafe level of radiation for those with sensitive medical conditions. If TSA decides they don't like my carrying a syringe despite having a medical necessity for insulin that must be given via injection then I can legally be held with no civil rights. On top of that, if you decide you do NOT want to fly after you see how they do things, but have already entered the area, then it is illegal to leave back the way you came without under going it and can be likewise detained without rights.
As for reports I can't point out specific, aside from the underwear bomber whom many reported as acting suspicious but airport security missed entirely. But here's this: http://www.homelandstupidity.us/2007/10/25/tsa-screeners-fail-most-bomb-tests/ CBS had one, but it was pulled as when I tried to access their archives it was listed as non-existent despite showing up on several search engines.
@Dray For measures forced by the government. Leave the airlines alone and I think this would be much less lax. I must also point out that some jobs require use of airline travel so those people must, in order to keep their livelihood, have their rights violated.

Ah then, you follow the stupid security procedures. Sorry but if i dont wanna get on a plane, i dont wanna get on a plane. Even past the security trial, i can ask to go back, but of course they make me deliver ticket and such, so i wont screw them up

In fact Nihil, Europe goes thru 100x more threats than the USA does, sometimes from ourselves, and we dont react so violently. I think this bullshit statistical excuse youve aranged to justify piss poor management and clear idiocy is laughable. Statistics, specially concerning factors with a high number of variables, are, at the most, slightly guidable.
As for Aard, is anyone making you fly? Physically or forcefully making you fly? No. You buy your plane ticket out of your own made freedom choice will. Now when you buy your ticket, it says the procedures for the airport. When you buy your ticket, they TELL you that by flying you will allow them to strip search you. You are STILL not obligated to go, but if you WANT to sit on that plane, you must do this. Thus, no rights are taken from you. You are abdicating willingfully your rights when you accept to go thru with it. And even when youre at the airport, you can just turn around , go home, and not do anything.
The circunstances of this are not relevant to the argument of rights being broken.
Ever notice that Europe gets more terrorist attacks too? You guys are really missing the point, its hardly an inconvenience and raises safety.

The radiation, aard, is incredibly minute.
If the statistics are only slightly guidelines, then my argument holds, you have a small chance of dying in a car accident because of safety measures.

Yeah, and those security measures don't violate my privacy. If you want to strip down and give TSA a lap dance Nihil that's your choice, I'd rather take the chance that my awareness will catch anything out of the ordinary, especially since TSA does such a piss poor job of this even with the inane security protocols.

Re: TSA, they want your body..
All i have to say about all these, is my brother (a 18 year old at the time) with sunglasses on looking pretty shady made it all the way threw airport security all the while he had pinkeye. . . So if airport security cant ask somebody to take off there sunglasses (hell they even pulled my bro aside) ...
