well one

Ptolemy already carries a light saber a short saber he picked up during the attack on JvS.

You did'nt know he has practiced fighting staff in one hand (right) and that saber in the other. no one would know that as the practice was always alone as is his custom. I was going to reveal that later when he got into a fight.

Also he would be wearing a light chain mail if he knew he was going into combat is a cortosiss weave similar to the way the metal is inlaid and wrapped around his staff. both his staff and chain are force infused. I know that sounds like a lot but it was all introduced and explained earlier in CoaJ.

When it is fullfilled. Im guessing as i move closer to the event, ill get more of it.

Ptolemy, hence why i would throw him a lightsaber, if i dont know he has practiced, i wouldnt know he had one. This still leaves the possibility of using the staff saber combo. all i did was show he had prowess with a normal lightsaber. As for the armor....doesnt really matter. cortosis and force armor can take a little bit of beating, but thats a bout it. Yu can still get majorly fucked if you get slashed.

pretty much all trained force users, sith or jedi, know how to use a lightsaber. its a universal assumption, with exceptions of course.
