i like it but you have to remember that Pto uses his staff more than anything. It is what he is used to. You read the description of the staff right?

Breaks down into two shorter staffs that can transform in to shotos. the are cortosis inlaid hard wood from Kashikk.

I'll probably write a fight with Sarus and Ara, I assume the shield still needs to be killed regardless of the pre-emptive strike?

yeah, since the plan was for kora to destroy the foundry from above. Thing is suppose to arrives minutes after Kora to assist with everyone on the ground.

Remember how far the shield source is underground

But of course, im still in the dark about daedalus

Right had forgotten about the underground part. I'm still keeping the details secret until a further point, but suffice it to say it is in Dusk's best interests to keep the war going, and the installation(s) serve an overall purpose.

The staff and force powers. Pto is more of a manipulator of the force and is very... pragmatic about it's use. meaning many times the ends justify the means.

So was writing up a bit with Ara and Sarus and I was thinking this might be a good time to pull out a no-win scenario. I mean the characters we've got always win, or at least succeed in their objective, so how about a Reach type scenario where the characters strive for the win, get close, but ultimately have to realize it's just not possible this time.

Thoughts?

By the way I'm including a minor psychotic break for Ara since if we intend to finish this any time soon he needs to get closer to the edge. It'll be close to the alternate personality problem Dawn had because I intend to tie the event together at the end. It won't be exactly the same as Ara will be more aware of his problems.

Oh and should I take them into the base or actually destroy the shield because that decides between 4-6 pages and 10-12.

you know we dont always win. weve lost already once. and its implied weve been losing during the war. and we had a lot of sacrifices. im jsut sayin, we dont ALWAYS win.
