Bob, you're making yourself look like an idiot, please stop talking smack when you don't understand the game genre. Also this most likely refers to level cap, even the longest games I've seen can't get past 100 hours with just quests and side quests.

any game unless given correct minute investment, will never last past 60 hours. except MMOs, mainly because of grinding/dungeon crawling. but also for the multiplayer aspect. i have seen MMOs where simply the quests and sidequests can go over 200 hours as well.

I don't have much experience with actual MMO play because I can't keep my attention focused enough to actually level the characters up, so I'm basing my assumption on SP RPG, which is what he's talking about. He admits this doesn't include MP.

I tried to play Mabinogi, Runescape, & Guild Wars, but I ran across the same thing. Went in, found nothing to do(couldn't go anywhere and couldn't find any quests), got bored after an hour and stopped playing.

I used to play runescape it was fun, but eh idk I like my games more interactive ... idk im not much of a MMO guy you can say.

I think you mean you want more involvement in the action because RPG games are far more interactive then FPS games are.

Oh and you know what? CoD has just gone full rail shooter. its not a FPS anymore. its a rail shooter. im certain.

also, Runescape is shit and you should be ashamed for liking it.

WoW is ok now, because there is no more grinding, now you just do quests and quests n quests, and they also nerfed leveling in Cataclysm. Of course in those quests, some will involve grinding practices but oh well...

It's not going to be released at new years, amazon always has a place holder date but no one has the official date.

So far they are aiming for October 2011.

1. its online exclusive, so you will not find many people on first day. not even WoW had a community at first day.

2. you have NO idea of knowing if youre money is worth it. wich is why i never pre order again.

1. have you seen the community on the website? Obviously its not a few JVSclan members that are going to play. Plus this isn't WoW, Its SW:TOR get over it.

you will be thoroughly disappointed then Red. MMOs are multiplayer oriented, first and foremost. this will not be a KOTOR, lose any slight ideas that it will resemble one, even in the most minimum way, and Bioware has been seriously dropping the ball lately.

ronzoy, ive seen bigger hypes than SWTOR. im still telling you, the most youll find first few days is gonna prolly be one server semi full. or i might be wrong and this game will actually be big. the latter case is less probable.

So yeah, don't pre-order a game when you don't even know the financial arrangements. They're probably using this pre-order to gauge how many people will get it regardless and then they'll base what the monthly subscription will be on how many people are already dedicated and screw everyone over.
