PS3 wipes the floor with the competition.

Today on E3 2010 live, Sony announced new updates and news about the PS3. The PS3, which has everything you would want in entertainment, movies, web, games, music, photos, now just got better.

It is now making and upgrading games to become 3D. The upgraded games are good and the ones made for 3d are even better.

Not to mention the tons of exclusive PS3 games that everyone just loves.

If that wasnt enough the PS3 now has a motion control sticks similiar to the Wii. But its extremely accurate. Its way better than the clumsy Wii nunchucks. Combine that with 3d and you get an breakthrough experience in gameplay.

You all know the ps3 has free online play. They just launched new subscription feature to let you subscribe for a small 49$ yearly fee, to get the latest game betas and demos not even seen by the normal public, game discounts, and even full free games. They allso include the first 3 months free. One of the games out right now for free is a full game is called Wipeout HD.


There is aso a Virtual world game called playstation home which is as high tech as you can get. You can be looking at your tv watching your avatar watch a tv about a character watching tv. all with their own stuff going on. What they did today is take the Whole E3 convention stadium and put it in PSH. So those who cant be at E3 can visit it virtualy. Its also got the FIFA soccer stadium.

the ps3 now sells for 299$ for its newest model and 400$ for all the motion stuff added which includes a camera, two motion sticks, a new PS3, and a game to go with it. You have to see it for yourself. The motion sports game they have is somthing that ten years ago would thought to be impossible. Ill try to finda video of E3 on youtube.

But right now there is almost no reason at all to buy a 360 except maybe for halo, which is nothing compared to all the new ps3 games. You might also get it at a cheap price.

I also heard from a friend that some halo contract is expiring that allows halo to be sold on any platform. If thats true and it comes out on ps3 then halo is screwed. its already a dying franchise.

The Playstation motion sensor is basically wii plus. with a dorkier look. but it works well. 3D is just bullcrap. to see in true 3D way, you need one of those 3D tvs, wich by themselves, arent that impressive....seriously, people keep saying 3D 3D 3D, but tbh, its just not that much. there is no big improvement in 3D then there was 5 years ago. its just gone to peoples homes. 3D works in movies cause its a big screen and the whole scenario gets you more into it, but even then, its not that impressive...honestly, this whole 3D market bullshit going around is a big big overevaluation of a product that doesnt really give that much...oh and, if you still say 3D wil work in the ps3 without the tvs, it means you need 3D glasses, wich straight out fucking suck. the TVs are not worth buying either, so yeah.

I like all the other stuff thou. They certainly took their own godamn time taking back the seat as king of the market.

plus one of the trailers for the 3ds showed many of the type of games they are planing to release for 3ds (resident evil, Kingdom hearts) im hoping for a kickass castlevania game

3- The new xbox STILL does not beat the ps3 in performance. That is a fact too. It STILL is not capable of the performance and graphical power of the PS3. The only thing of big new it has is the 250 gigabytes of memory wich only rich people who can afford to pay EVERYTHING can fill up, and took them 2-3 years to put it in a console, when PS3 did it right away. Unless you actually put music and dvds and images into it, in wich case, why do you have a PC?

PS: NO FUCKING BLU RAY. Is it that hard to do? I can upgrade my PC at home to blu ray, and Microsoft cant make it a built in feature of their consoles? I dont care much about blu ray, but it serves to show.

The PS3's move is much better than Xbox kinect or "natal".

When you compare the two you will see a clear difference. Nothing new to be seen on xbox's part.

That stupid voice command thing is just for lazy people. Ive seen it on other things before and the ps3 has voice command games. Having a voice command xbox is like....really lazy. And how doesit know if you if your actually talking to it? What if your just taking about xboxs?

Xbox still has a long way to go. Right now its dead last the way i see it. PS3 has all that, Wii has family games, xbox has? Nothing out of the ordinary.

The ps3 motion controls are way more accurate than the Wii.

I havent tried 3d myslef but i i hear nothing but good things so far.

PS home is good and is for much more than an online world. people use it to hang out with their online friends when not playing a game and they also use it to connect and join a game launching session for certain games. It also has tons of spaces and features and is HD. Sure beats that stupid Xbox avatar.
