I don't like him, but at the same time I feel sorry for him and think we haven't seen much of what he'd do. The few measures that have passed are ill thought out or outright unconstitutional in the case of NDAA, but I could say the same of Bush and, to a degree, Clinton. Congress cock-blocks most of his harmless and mostly harmless legislation and stalls government all together while not raising a word when he does serious damage. So he's had to fall back to Executive Orders and he's ended up almost HAVING to abuse the power to move the government forward at all, the problem is these orders are treated as law and are an abuse of power in many circumstances.

Despite all that negative, if Ron Paul isn't on the ballet(as he's the only sensible one) I will vote for Obama. I'm pretty sure if Obama gets a second term the country will still be here in 2016, I can't say the same for Gingrich or Santorum both of which would launch a holy war given the chance. And Romney... he's got Bushes stupidity but he actually knows he's stupid and forges ahead anyway which is actually worse and he'd fall over for anyone who pushed him.

The only way socialism will work, is if it is global. global currency, global government. and that scares me more than anything else.

Now there is a set of sentences that ive reviewed in my head over n over and realized they make no sense. When would socialism "work" exactly? And if you do have a set of parameters for something that would define a political and economical attitude to work, what examples do you have that OTHER attitudes have worked in the same parameters?

When has communism ever worked? Capitalism? Anarchy? Hybrids of various percentages?
