Darth Maul has returned for revenge

I don't know what to think of this...

Is it just me, or do these writers make a sport of ruining canon?

star wars is dead to me. i wish all these fanboys stopped ruining my shit. i can count by hand the worthy things to come out of the EU. pretty much old republic and thrawn trilogy. maybe some fo the games, kyle katarn.

I really enjoy the X-Wing series, they're pretty funny and develop Wedge and Tycho, two of my favorite characters.

Not just you, I've thrown my share of shit over complete canon contradictions and rewrites. I've had to let the small annoyances go because of the sheer magnitude of fuck-up.

No that was an "Infinites" story. In Star Wars "Infinites" are the 'what-ifs'. What if Darth maul survived to seek revenge on Obi-wan? What if Luke had married Leia? You get the idea, their not part of Star Wars canon, they're just neat little stories, and the Maul-coming-back story was a 'what-if', whereas the Clone Wars thing is complete canon which is amazingly allowed to contradict not only other EU stories, but the movies themselves. They really need to turn the whole mess over to someone who decides what is canon and what isn't since Lucas' view on canonical changes with the weather.


The sad part is, I'll watch this most likely. Just to see the inevitable fight. Because Maul fights tend to be very good in any format they're presented. And it'll give me more ammo against the series.

Yes. TFU was the funeral for Star Wars canon. TFU2 was just little boys messing with the grave.

TFU was passible, TFU2 was just ridiculous...

Actually TFU2 had the more plausible story. In TFU he goes back-to-back with Vader and the Emperor and beats both without breaking a sweat.... then dies in a lightning storm that VADER(his suit shorts out quickly when exposed to Force Lightning) gets up A OK. By contrast the ending of TFU 2 just has you fight Vader and win, and at the end, you're given the impression that Vader let you win to enact a plan.

they didnt even show him in tonights episode O_o they had some random magic sorcery that i didnt know existed int he star wars universe lolz

Oh there's all sorts of ways to use the Force, granted I haven't seen the ep yet so I'm not sure if they fucked up canon again or not. I think they said Maul was supposed to be coming near the end of March.

Btw TFU for me was a story of its own. Since it made no sense to me, I just made it a "what-if" thought. Too stretched for a story based on a universe where these arent even the main events imo.
