If it's a joke, fine, funny is funny and more people could use a sense of humor. If it's just a rant about how awful it is it's pointless, unless you're trolling, because anyone who is religious is going to ignore any facts you bring them and anyone who isn't is just going to go, 'well yeah, duh'.

Honestly I do get tired of people ragging on it to no point, you don't like religion, fine, move on, and I've never gotten the point of it. It's someone's belief, if they're not in your face about it then leave them to it.

Well, the Jedi religion is largely based on Taoism. The Qi and the Dao are both the Force, The Yin Yang represents the opposites of the light and dark side, etc. There are a lot of parallels.

except that Taoism does not convey any teaching in wich the Yang elements are to be supressed.

Its pretty obvious. Theyre a monasteric order and often called monks for a reason. But the superficial appearance is all they have in common.
