Im gonna be traveling tomorrow and was wondering if i could install jka on my laptop. Would the configs transfer over? And i guess i would have reinstall ja+

Yes, if it's on steam it'll stay on your steam account regardless of what computer you use. You will have to reinstall JA+ though, and any other pk.3's you've gotten from filefront or what have you.

Configs will not transfer but install steam and you will be able to install and play it where ever.

You can still use a flashdrive to just move any missing cfgs and pk3s from your desktop to your laptop.

Hell since we don't custom map anymore you could store them on a floppy.

You can login to steam from infinite computers, and have the same games, just not at the same time...

My parents have an Apple 2e, and the original MS operating system, I was raised on floppies. Besides my point is the configs don't take up much room.

I did have a floppy on my first 2 pc's. And not even then, I didnt use them.

And I got my first pc when I was 7, and me and my dad were using cd's.
