What was it....oh yeha, XBOX 360!!! in all honesty, had you not the early release and all the developer contracts that microsoft ate up, the xbox had nothin else to offer. and the ps3 price IS in contrast to its lack of release boom because of that. also, PS2 > Evth. trustworthy, rich, powerful console, that is still better TODAY than those two shitty bricks we use in this generation. Wich is why Nintendo is still king.

They really don't care about that i don't think... companies such as nintendo and microsoft don't really worry about that so much. They worry that it works, the product will sell, and they get tons of $ for it.

PS2 started it Dray, hardware wise the PS2 was a PoS compared to the Xbox, but since in a console war the first console out wins majority exclusive titles get thrown out to give people incentive to buy it. And I hate that I bought an Xbox for the better graphics and I would have considered a PS3 had it not been double the price.

FUCK THAT, no one made any decent games for that stupid square lump of plastic. It may have had more power, but no one took advantage of it, wich is what happened with the PS3 in the first 2 years or so. Plus, the PS2 was WAYYYYYYYY more trustworthy. Its gotta be the most trustworthy console ive experienced. It was hard to make one break. You had to really fuck it up bad.

And it wasnt just exclusives. The fact that the Xbox had no pedigree helped too. From the start, the PS2 had its backwards compatibility and then it had its home franchises, wich it still has in thisgeneration. There werent many exclusives outside of their home franchises, like Metal Gear and Devil May Cry.

I broke my PS2 without moving it, I actually was in a car crash with my old Xbox and it still works. And yeah Xbox got ripped off, was way more powerful which is why I got it anticipating a nice line-up.

I was at the windows XP launch, Shut up Dray!, and they demoed the original XBox. it looked amazing. To bad the hype didn't live up to performance and then no good titles...

This is why the console will not work for me. PS3 has a blueray tho. thats cool.

consoles are becoming personal computers. the concept of console is soon to be dead, such as the concept of arcades died as well.

i love how people think PC gaming is still having a whole wall dedicated to a computer that eats up the whole houses electricity. i have a gaming pc, and i play it on my bed on my lap.
