Yes because taste was severely lacking. I mean Avatar grossed what 300 million? I watched the movie, the plot in it was nothing special, the characters were extremely shallow, and the action was so-so, the only good thing about it were the graphics.

Re: Cowboys & Aliens
i THINK you all need to get your head out of Schindler's List and Silent of the Lambs. This is actually a clever twist on the alien invasion. I mean, they always invade us in the present day, when it is much more interesting to see what happens when they invade us in the past. What ive seen of the movie, they seem to focus on the action, wich is good, movies like this rarely are capable of putting out a decent complex plot, so focus on the action and the normal story as well as scenario, and it should come out a fine movie.

Plus who knows we might end up seeing zombie movies set back in the Roman era, hell possibly even during some of history's greatest and darkest events.

Didn't like either movie. I just think it's stupid to make a movie like this. I won't be seeing it. Who cares about cowboys and aliens fighting each other. We all know how it's going to end anyway soooo I'm not gonna watch it...

Actually Schindler's list was a great movie. I do not know how accurate since i have not been able to do the research.
I know there were people in Germany like the man portrayed in Schindler's list but to what extent i do not know.

Who cares about some stupid game about some unknown character in a fictional universe? Like the game you spend HUNDREDS of HOURS playing? Most of the movies you watch, its pretty obvious how its going to end, but judging a movie based on a lil picky part of it is dumb if you ask me. Also, before you say anth else, watch the movie, then your word and opinion wil be worth something. I never say i will never watch a movie, even if it seems i wont like it, because i have numerous times, changed my opinion after seeing it.
Ptolemy, I referred Schindler's List because that seems the type of movies you would only see based on how quick you were to judge this movie, as in, extremely savvy and complex dramatic stories, with high praise from the world. There is room in my life for all kinds of things, mindless fun ones included. i think Schindlers list is a good movie.

Re: Cowboys & Aliens
You guys are also just rating it on it's teaser trailer and an idea.
Tell me how this sounds:
A space farmer sets off from his desert planet to fight his robotic father and his evil empire. He's accompanied by an old man, a space pilot, a walking furry tree, a space princess, and is trained by a little green frog-thing.
That sound ridiculous, but is pretty much how Star Wars plays out. I think we all agree here that the Star Wars Trilogy is the epitome of the Sci-Fi genre.

First Grade, we all brought our teddy bears in, Gabriel got his teddy bear string wound so tightly upon his finger that our first grade teacher gave us a lecture on why to come see her about those things. Watched a movie regarding teddy bears the interludes had great white hallways which were zoomed into as a change of topic or subject with regards to the teddy bear itself.
My astounding powers of photographic memory knew that since 1st grade
EDIT:
On a more related note, Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg, Cowboys AND Aliens? How could you not want to go see this? This and the next Pirates movie are movies that I might actually WANT to go see after not going to a movie theatre for about... 4 or 5 years?
