The most advanced scientific facility in the world, the CERN, is in France, and the Scandinavian countries, particularly Sweden and Finland, have a lot of high technological prototypian ideas. Ive seen A LOT of american products come out first for public, copied from prototype gadgets, some invented here. The iPhone was one of them for example.

We nords always get the games, movies and stuff later than US of A do. If something, we all should be Japanese or Chinese, then the world would go Skyhigh in evolution/science.

I cant speak of Europe as a country because it isnt. It is globalization at its best in this world.

Ok you know what? You are right. Europe is 10x more advanced than the USA and invents everything. They invented the car, they discovered flight, they invented electricity, TV's, the Internet, Penicillin, Atomic theory, Relativity, and many others goodies.

Secondly, if you look at the dissemination of technology, it doesn't matter who invents it, europe always seems to get the fat end of the stick, while we americans can't even build a high speed rail to enhance commute time and reduce environmental impacts of cars when Europe has a fair bit of them.

Not to mention America didn't invent relativity... Einstein did... IN Germany...

And Penicillin was Mr Flemming. A Scottish...in the British Islands.

And TV was in Germany(but of course, like i said, widespread to the public more quickly in the US)
