When i saw debate about beer in peppa's apply topic i think this will be interesting debate.

So here we go : post any of your experience with beer or your though about it.

I dont see poll there which sad.

For me beer is most failed type of alcohol.
I think even vodka > beer.

I tried many kinds of alcohol, many cocktails etc, but all lead to one sad thing.
Alcohol -> self destruction.
I can allow self destruction only if I can restor later, but after alcohol you cant restor.
Bad I didnt knew it when I was party comer and been drinking all this sh*t lol.

I think beer is pretty good, and if you knew anth about beer Darke, you would know that beer is the LEAST damaging of all the alcoholic beverages, only more damaging then some home wines. vodka is a piece of shit that is only tasty when u have it with sth else.

And I dislike beer coz its taste like shit compare to other alcohol(for me, I dont say about other peoples), and about vodka you can at least use something to make it taste good lol.

And actually beer this one alcohol type which thicket in comparison with others lead to alcohol dependence.

i take beer becuz it has pratically no alcohol. i could take 5 or 6 regular size beers before even starting to feel tipsy. its weak, nad i like the taste.

i have great knowledge in the kind of damage alcohol does, and its not that much to be honest. it takes YEARS OF HEAVY DRINKING for it to affect....it affects more of ur liver. only heavy drugs like LSD or meth do relevant damage to ur brain.

Well I cant actually write down what I know about alcohol coz my english knowledge dont rly allow me to do that. And I dont know rly many bout drugs, still I readed somewhere that drugs destroy brain surely faster then alcohol, have bad effect on bone and teeth etc..
Still alcohol also dont stop on brain and nervous system, its killing cardiovascular system, stomach, pancreas, liver.. Right?

The rate at wich this destruction happens is really low. you need to be a huge drunk for many many years to notice a difference.

Well as I know after one bottle of beer or I duno 100g of vodka, normal human cant properly think for next 2 weeks or even more, like you cant realy fully recive information at school or if u some scient u will hardly fail with ur project etc.. I heard one very nice lecture once.

I doubt that someone can drink beer all the night-people always mixed it with sth else.. And with that defects-dray is right-you need to drink vodka,tequilla for years very often to see some real defect.From beer-when you drink it wisely-your belly will grow up....

and Nihil with that 16-post.There are countries which doesn't have the same drinking restriction that US does.

Thats not the only way it kills. 20,000 people die a year in the USA from alcohol related traffic incidents. 20,000. Imagine a stack of bodies, 20,000 high. That is what alcohol does, in the USA alone.

and yeah, but thats the old saying: 'Dont drive drunk'. again, this happens if ur a stupid dumbass that cant shut his mouth/get on the passenger seat.

I make you imagine that because its a travesty that no one gives a shit about, and yet alcohol remains legal, and drinking and driving penalties remain low here.

A few years ago I did a hit and run with property damage only. Mind you, only someones property was damaged. I want you to understand that part. No one was in the car, and tbh I barely felt the nudge when I hit it and didnt even think I hit a car (I was driving a 10,000 pound box truck). It was my FIRST traffic offense. YOu know what penalty I got? 6 months LOSS OF LICENSE MANDATORY. Thats right. I could not drive for HALF A FUCKING YEAR. YOu know what happens to drunk drivers the first time they are caught? Nothing. Slap on the wrist. Fuciking BULLSHIT.

It should be nullification of driver license, or make them take it all over again.

your assuming that every person is weak minded and cant drop down a beer. its not a cigarrette dude, its not that addictive....ya need a lot more to be addicted to it. of course it varies from person to person, but the wide spectrum of them can tolerate PRETTY much. a lot.

and ilmare, i dont drink Bud or any kind of that beer. we got 1st quality ones here. Not to mention Carlsberg, wich is always good ^^. oh also, i dont drink that much, maybe once in a month lol.

I actually like beer on the rare occasions that i drink. Wine or Champagne on special occasions. I think moderation is the key. Binge drinking is bad and can kill you. When you get drunk that is a mild form of alcohol poisoning and if you drink to much in one sitting it will kill you. Yes it takes quite a bit. Alcohol is a poison to your body or it would not effect you the way it does.

That being said i have seen several studies where 8oz of red wine can help your heart but you get more of a boost from 8oz of grape juice.

yeah, cause human beings are immortal without drinks or drugs to kill hem. the point is, what kills you fast enough to worry, AND, what makes your life quality reduced? alochol, at least on the doses you've read from me or ptolemy, does not reduce life quality.

yes, I stated that those doses do not reduce life quality, though are used to exploit women and can cause people to commit uninhibited acts, which don't really affect the quality of life, just embarrass you, I guess. But most ppl won't keep the doses so low, hence the car accidents.

I drink every thursday friday saterday sunday, some mondays if the mood is right. It's not effecting my brain at all, I'm still kicking ass at school.
I drink to get drunk, beer takes to long. Good vodka is tasty. Jamesons is tasty. Everclear will get you drunk REALLY fast.

Contrary to many beliefs, alcohol does NOT effect how one acts. The thought of being drunk effects how people act. A study gave 1 group alcohol and another non-acoholic. Both groups displayed drunk behaviors.
