If he is not a personal god then he/she/it is irrelevant to us.

Not sure we can say if he is or not relevant. Concept of a paradoxal being causes all logic to fall thru.

we have free will, people kill people because they want to, not because god wanted to put us here to see who the last man standing is, remember that

If god/gods exist and does not.. well.. better yet here:
"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?" ~Epicurus

Some people have legitimate brain handicaps. Remember that our mind originates in the brain, and thus like any organ is subject to illness and malformation. Some people do commit acts for purely evil reasons for usually these evil reasons have a foundation in some illness, or trauma (emotionally) that occurred to the brain/mind.

The whole Epicurus quote has a flaw thou. Its argument stands on morality, and the assumption that God has a morality, or even a line of thinking similar to anything on Earth. If he indeed knows everything, then perhas he has a reason to be able to stop evil and not do it. Hence why Humans cannot define what God is to us yet, because we do not know what his line of thinking is, and how great is his knowledge. This is even assuming God is a sentient presence of some sort.

Youre just going back to my original point. That people misunderstand his will. That was part of my original statement. And if he is not a sentient presence than again, what do we care? You are really trying to go head to head in philosophy with Epicurus? LOL

1 person Nihil.
Champ, the non sentient is out of context. i can prfectly understand Epicurus speaks of a sentient god with knowledge about us. And i was flawing Epicurus statement, not yours. Unless you say Epicurus speaks for you, wich you said he didnt, since your opinion is the same as mine.
Paradoxal question for christians: How does God know he is omniscient?(this one is a fact killer)
