i would go with stephen king cuz he is my favorite author and i think it would be nice to talk to him, and george carlin... he was my favorite stand up comic and i was really hurt by his passing... i think it would have been nice to talk to him as well

Does not count. In and of its own definition, God is not a living being. Thus he cannot be classified as a person, dead or alive. The closest thing to that is Jesus.

Living... No one really. I think most humans alive today are a disgrace to what it is to be human. If anyone, maybe Michio Kaku. He is fascinating to listen to.

Dead... Plato or Alexander Pope, I like them both equally. Alive.... well I wouldn't mind chatting with Robin Williams, but that's just because I've always liked his comedy, even when people try to make fun of his comedy as bad it's still funny.

Dead one : Winston Churchill : he's the one who i admire the most. great politician, great soldier,great prime minister, great person at all.

Plato had a way of thinking similar to my own, I'm curious on how he would view events today.

Ahhh some of the last great presidents where during that time. WW2 really brought out the best and worst in politicians. Now you just see selfish arrogant rich pricks who can care less about anyone outside of their little personal sphere.

Alive - Well i have more than one actually.... Joel McHale, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and probably David Spade.

Actually Churchill was a bit of an ass to people. He was an idealist, but hardly a conversationalist....

And Plato, Aard? To ask him if Socrates actually said all those things or if Plato was only using him as a character? That has to be the reason.

Yeah im sure he expected things to work out this way. He made sure he put all the laws in place for a people to defend themselves from big government and slowly over 200 years the government has disarmed the very people he had tried to protect and made themselves huge.

Agreed, he would be disappointed, but not surprised.

A lot of people are angry at God in this world Dante. They either cannot understand why he allows suffering or misunderstand why he does (if God even exists that is).

Or simply we have the wrong definition of what he is.
