IMO if i ever got any good at mapping id make helms deep. Because its small, has plenty of places that are convienent to fight, and i could tag team with somebody and pull the epic aragorn/gimili rape-age on the walkway

EDIT: btw if i ever reload 3dsmax i can modal pieces for your map. (way easier than animating shit)

well ive attemptd to do simple rooms and platforms and stuff but its kinda confusn - i wantd to start the map during when i was with DJE but they nevr got around to helpn me with the textures and stuff.... :\ and ya heehee GROOVY!!! and Bastun wat do u mean by what Program to open GTK?

Windows says it can't open the file cuz it doesn't know which program made it.

Well about a month late for this thread but hey, whatever. A couple things to remember about mapping a realistic environment. You want to have all the scale right for your map, unless you want to have the perspective of a mouse, ant or giant. So go in game and make sure your model is about the right size for normal human/person. Another thing to do is do only do test builds if you are just checking out how something looks (Not counting if it is supposed to be dark and mysterious, I'm talking about how it looks overall) they take less time and if I recall correctly they have lights disabled so it is full view. Other than that if you see me on XFire and got a question, pop in.

oh ok i think i undrstand that thanks ill try to talk to u sometime bout some things and sorry Bastun i wish i could help u in someway i think i know wat ur talkn bout tho when u click on it and it makes a pop up and it has bunches of icons and it wants u to choose which one to open GTK with but the only problem is that i had to do that with a few JA files and a picture... so hmm lol
