Jedi Laming Act Revisions
New Act wrote:
Laming (intentionally attacking, or killing a Jedi with saber down or chat bubble up) is officially against the Order, however a Jedi within close proximity of the main battle or fray is considered to be "free-game" and is Lame-able. Any Jedi who lames another Jedi outside the main battle, especially in a duel will be disciplined at the discretion of the Grand Master. This may even be as severe as a demotion if the Jedi in question is a JM/JS/JC/JG.
Any Questions Please ask them here.

It does leave a little grey area, but my view on it is unless it is obviously outside of the main fight, it's fine.

here is my question... i know if im dueling soran... i can't lame him... thats cool... but when i was ptol's pad he would rdfa me at the beginning of our duels because some people do that... it was to prepare me for it so i would get out of the way... is there any leeway during training?

if the saber is off or chat bubble is up that is laming. if you are standing there saber up and hand in your pants you can be hit that is NOT laming.

Ik a guy who plays like that, his footwork is soo good that he doesnt ignite his saber unless hes attacking, and once he finishes it he disignages it. So he says dont worry, its not laming, my guard is up. The guy was amazing. He plays on EJA occasionally still.

Training is a separate entity I would say. This would be a bit like a court of law, you only get in trouble if you have an issue with the lame, because if you don't have an issue you can just choose not to report it.

It teaches you to expect that something you don't expect is going to happen unexpectedly so that you're able to expect that something unexpected will happen at any given time, expected or unexpected.

It teaches you respect and honor your fellow Jedi. It's a code that shows you respect not only the Grandmaster, but the people you call your brothers/sisters. It's respect, that's all...
