Jedi Knight 4?

I was wondering will be there Jedi Knight 4 in the next years... I have a blast playing this game so I hope there will be a next release.

Lucasarts said they would never do it. Thats why i hate them

Basically, they are too busy with Bioware right now, and seeing as Raven did a shitty sequel to JK2(we all know JK3 has shitty Single Player) they dont trust them much. Also remember you need to write plots for a game.

I dont understand why a company would not make another game to a franchise as successful as JKA. I can only think they lost all interest as devs in the project and thus cannot do any further work on it.

JKA wasnt that successful. It enjoyed mild success, but it was shitty in SP and highly outdated(the time this game came out, the Q3 engine was wayyyyy too old.)

JKA was a much better execution of gameplay then JKO, but that's all it was, a better combat system. It had no new innovations, the story was sloppy and no where near as involved as JKO's, and the characters weren't as in-depth. Add to that the fact that the LS ending was the canon ending to JKA, and there weren't many places left to go with it. The main character in all the series: Kyle, was forced into a background picture in JKA, and would have been removed entirely if they chose to make a JK4. JK4 would have to be like JKO, but with Jaden alone this time instead of Kyle, and Jaden was no where near as strong a character.

Seriously who gives a shit. But I agree, the story was absolute SHIT compared to JKO. JKO was actually a bit riveting while JKA was boring and bla.

I think like Jedi Knight: Chronicles would be a good idea. Its the same thing they did in Tomb Raider, Hitman, etc etc. They made a game where your just making missions, not a continuous story, more like a remembrance of all the missions you did. And you could have Kyle remember his missions.

Dudes... why must they continue the story of jaden and kyle? why not make the same type of game, but based in another time period?

Oh well. I like Kyle.

Kyle was cool until JKA. The moment he did not saber Rosh when he met him, I lost all respect for him.
