well after the fight between father and son then Thing fights Dusk.
there is still the fight with Dray and the rest of the crusaders.

I cannot think of anything that i am gonna write that will conflict with Dray and his fight. Not sure about thing's fight though.

ok so i have an idea. what if in the plans for the tunnels, there is also a kill switch for the generators? hidden in the wall like the door switches...

It kind of defeats any real urgency to fight Dusk if you can just shut everything down and call in the cavalry to take him with overwhelming force. There's a reason I had the generators come back up, it was specifically to force Pto and Thing into a confrontation with Dusk and Ara with no back-up.

No with the Generators down there's nothing to keep Iron and Span from mustering forces and rushing the Temple overwhelming the Crusaders Dray is facing and taking back the Temple quickly. The full force would allow many to break through to the bunker and give both Span and Iron a chance to finish it. Dusk is powerful in this, but standing up to the combined might of 5-6 Master level combatants is a little much.

Aard, Remember, Pto's staff is a physical staff, Not a saber. He carries a saber but not a staff saber...

I really wish you'd make up your mind on that, I've read several of your posts where he uses a double-bladed lightsaber along with his staff.

In CoaJ he used a staff that he picked up in the final battle. Early in DoaJ i state that he carries a short bladed saber with a crimson blade, but still prefers his staff. Any other double bladed saber was not by me and not caught.

Well if it's a matter of being overwhelmed in the fight you could always have them give up. I know that sounds counter-intuitive, but you know Aragorn's character would accept a surrender and Thing, being a General, would go along with it as the best tactical option for the time.
