Sure. Was thinking you should increase your rank to Watchman now, you'd also make a good battlefield type character.

Posted also revised Bio

Bio:
Name: Ptolemy
Height: 1.7 Meters
Weight: 70 Kilos
weapons: 3 meter staff capable of several configurations and a short saber Crimson in color.

Appearance: Ptolemy is average height wearing the robes of an initiate and carrying a intricately carved and inlayed staff that he appears to use as a walking stick. Age is hard to determine as his face shows the wear and tear of a thousand worlds and a life hard lived. Ptolemy has shoulder length white hair and is force sensitive though with no formal training has been able to ‘figure stuff out’ with the help of his father and on his own.

My character will be following along the lines of a force warrior. I wield a staff, 2 Tonfas or side handled baton, that and hand to hand is all i have trained with since i began training at the age of 5. Short and long staff. I now carry a short saber described above.

I was hoping i did not move the plot to far with that discovery. but you do get the perception that there is more to the leadership than meets the eye...

Also rank for Ptolemy? I was thinking about trainer but was not sure...

Trainer would be a rather large jump for a year, but it is war so who knows. Right now the ranking would look kinda like this:

Aragorn - Watchman/Guardian - Again Watchman is more realistic since he would have to get it anyway, but in BoaJ he was a Marauder and in the series his saber skills have only increased so Guardian is a possibility.
Dray - Master - His choice, he was a Knight in BoaJ so four years is plenty of time to become a Master.
Ptolemy - Knight /Trainer - Knight is a more realistic version, but Trainer isn't completely out of the realm of possibility.
Sarus - Force Warrior - No real place to go from here for him so he's easy to keep track of.
Thing - Knight/Master - Toughest one for me because I ended up taking over a lot of Thing's character he's turned into a good(not great) saberist, and a great tactician so Master is an option just that his Mastery would be more like Oppo Rancisis then Yoda, but it's already been stated that his skill kind of plateaued at Knight.

I am not sure where i would have gone but isn't skill with a saber a requirement to advance like to knight? I am not sure that Ptolemy would fit any of the rank structure of the Jedi.

Skill no, the ability to wield it yes. Your character can use a lightsaber decently he just chooses not to so. Remember these ranks in the story are supposed to be closer to the canon SW ranks and titles.

Pto, your sig: Co-author of Corruption of a Jedi, Death of a Jedi and Tales of Pangea

Correct version: Co-author of Corruption of a Jedi, Death of a Jedi, and Tales of Pangea

Forgot the comma after Death of a Jedi. Razz

actually you dont put a comma there, unless english rules have changed....in a enumeration, when the last subject is ended with a 'and' , the and substitutes for a comma, creating a final point. adding a comma is just point mute. or i might be terribly mistaken...who knows....

Yeah, in simpler terms, it doesn't really matter if you put one or not, it's still accepted either.

E is Ecco, the porpoise-y sea hero. F is for Fantasies Final… Look, chocobos! G is for Genesis, 16-bit mirth. H is for Hyrule, land of Link’s birth. I is for Infocom’s text-based frivoloties. J is for John Carmack’s first-person novelties. K for Konami’s dark vampire tales. L for the Lemmings who march without fail. M is for Mario. Run, goombas, run! N for Nintendo, the first name is fun. O is for Oddworld, with games strage and clever. P is for Pac-Man, who caused quite a fever. Q is for Q-Bert’s curse-filled speech bubble. R is for Ridley, who gave Samus trouble. S is for Sonic, his fleet feet reknowned. T is for Tetris blocks falling in mounds. U is for Ulala’s fast, funky feet. V is for Video cards, fast obsolete. W for Wizardry; through dungeons we’d scurry. X for the Xbox, as big as Missouri. Y is for Yoshi, a plumber’s best friend. Z is for Zelda, and here this rhyme ends.

Actually the comma is needed to clarify that the "and" doesn't still mean a single in the list like listing movie titles. "I watched Darma and Greg, Dumb and Dumber, and Jay and Silent Bob this weekend." Was always taught this way in every school I've ever been in(6) and was scolded for forgetting it.

None of the elements are pairs, they are all single subjects. The comma would be logical for such a case, but without the comma, you assume each value is a single subject of the list. That is how defaults work. a list be default is made of single sujbects. This Darma and Greg, Simon and garfunkel etc etc case is not default, hence the comma applies there. Its all bout whats default and whats not.

YOU HATE ENGLISH? fool. you have no idea how easy you have it. in terms of artistic expression, it might not be the best. Romantic languages are sooooo godamn immersive and flourished, even in basic wordings. But in praticality and communication, english is numero uno.

Well you have to remember how many mistakes you speak before the age of 10. Basic grammar is in my opinion teachable, but it reaches a point where itsj ust fucking stupid to teach it unless thats what your thriving for in life. I shouldnt have been learning portuguese by 9th grade, even at 7th there was little work.
