Excommunication. The Pope can declare a Roman Catholic church excommunicated, meaning they are no longer recognized as a church of Roman Catholicism, basically exile.

And yes the Pope has probably sinned by Biblical standards, the difference is he didn't make his "sin" a way of life. My question is this: The Gay community hates every religion that says homo-sexuality is wrong, so why the fuck do they want to lead a religion they hate? Do you understand how incredibly biased that makes you sound, that is the bias aard, that the gay community hates every religion that says that homosexuality is wrong. You obviously have some deep seated adverse feelings about them, because you have just generalized their condition in the world, they can't even serve in the American army for pity's sake.

the way you talk about the homosexuals is in the way that another person would talk with a bias about dumb blondes, there are dumb people, and some blonde females got that name, and it stuck, so now you are referring to the portion of the gay community that are, in affect, the "dumb blondes" of the community, because they do not represent them as a whole, but people take them to be, and because they exist.

Btw I have gay friends, over a dozen in fact, and we get along fine. I bash the community because they're looking for a fight, and I'm not generalizing, I'm using their own words. Gay media has constantly condemned any religion that says homosexuality is wrong, that's not my opinion, it's theirs.

They can serve in the army, they just can't walk up to the recruiter and go, "Hey, I just got done fucking my boyfriend, can I join?" Military doesn't care, keep your sexuality to yourself and everything is fine.

Religion, imo, are all bullshit, and no one should listen to them. The fact that the Pope doesn't like gays only proves that Catholics will be bais against anyone that has a higher authority over them tells them. Homosexuallity is not a "sin", and should never be viewed as such, because sins don't exist. Sins, are, in an essence, something invented by the writers of religious texts, in a vain attempt to control people. They couldn't just write it themselves, people wouldn't follow them. So they made an all powerfull being that you must follow or else you'll roast forever.

You choose to represent your community by picking fights, then I'll treat the community in the way it represents. I don't have problems with most gay individuals because we have mutual respect, they don't want me to talk about my sexuality around them and the same with me. There's nothing wrong with not wanting to know about another person's sex life. We get along fine because we don't feel the need to talk about sex.

Gays aren't oppressed, they just want to pick a fight. Every gay friend I have feels the same way, they can't understand why the media keeps trying to pick on religions that have preferences.

The recent activity by the gay community, gay media, w/e you wanna call it, is nothing more then them trying to force their world views on everyone.

Gays not being allowed in the military because the "Holy Book" says so is pure garbage. If I wrote a book saying that wearing clothes was a sin, would I suddenly be allowed to, whenever someone wore clothes, shove my book down their throat, claiming they're breaking the key laws of my religion. If you don't follow the religion you should not be entailed to follow its laws.

You have to be able to trust the men you work with in battle, and if you know they're gay, you may be more wary of them and no trust them to do what needs to be done.

If we let religion impede us, then we can't have the golden, in the sense of their greatness, holy, values of freedom, liberty, and equality.

in the war against terror, we have lost literally over 13,000 able bodied men willing to DIE FOR THEIR COUNTRY just because they were gay, i can honestly think of no greater disgrace to America than this, my heart goes out to those brave men and women who were willing to die, which none of us here are doing, for their country.

And besides, why can't a gay be religious, you have to realize, not every priest of the Catholic Church is completely orthodox, thats what makes, especially that brand of Christianity, so especially utterly distasteful to me.

Gays can be kicked out of a job, boarding houses, heck, even the army when right wing congressmen and women are complaining about sending more troops, heck, those 13,000 that we kicked out for being gay sure would have sufficed

as for religion, again, nothing is orthodox anymore, people are learning to think for themselves, why should a Gay Christian think that he is not "worthy" of gods love if he follows him devotedly, why shouldn't a Gay Muslim boy not be "worthy" of Allah's love if he follows the Five Pillars of Islam better than any other man or woman on earth?

As for the Christian side of your last statement, he wouldn't be following Christ devotedly because he is living in Sin. He is actively living in homosexuality therefore that automatically says he is not living life devotedly to God.

Ask your average person on the street if they care their co-worker is gay and 90% of them will say they don't. There's no oppression, some gays have been removed from jobs and homes, and in those circumstances it was wrong, but those are very RARE cases. Don't believe me? I can go to the mall and find plenty of gay people gainfully employed. Any oppression you hear about is minimal and rare, but blown out of proportion by the media, I don't see anyone complaining about people over 50 being fired because they're no longer productive enough, and I don't see any complaints about diabetics being fired for being to much of a strain on company health care, and yet it happens. You know why you don't hear about those? It's rare, and nobody cares because you can still make fun of them and be politically correct.

As for religion, fine they can form their own denomination, which makes them no longer Roman Catholic and not under the Pope's venue. There's absolutely no reason to pursue a religion for holding it's values, and while I disagree with many religions I still admire them for holding to their core values and not changing to be politically correct.

By complaining to the media about so called unfairness when the religion is only holding to what is in the guidelines of that religion, they attempt to force their view on that religion.
