This is how Macro Economics fell into the shambles it was for about 30 years. It was through the destruction of Adam Smith.

In this case there is no law specifying that the U.S. government has the right to restrict use of any product unless such a product threatens the security of the nation by opening the door for foreign invasion.

Federal Law of the US states Marijuana is illegal in the US of A because of the Illegal Substances Act or something like that, forgot the name. It says marijuana is an illegal substance that cannot be sold in the US of A. No state Law can go around this. Prop 19 would just be removing one layer of restriction. It does not remove the others.

Constitution can be interpreted in constructionist ways, or, as Jefferson saw it, as a living document that changes with the times.
