there really shouldn't be any tension... we are after all one clan... we do have competitions and what not... but rarely is there ever any hostility... but with a group of people this big... there are bound to be people that don't like each other... it happens... but don't let that sway your mind into jedi or sith... pick the faction you think you would fit in best 
or whatever fits your personality... or whatever you think would be more fun... i know there are a couple sith i can think of off the top of my head... that have the attitudes of jedi... and vice versa... so it doesn't really matter... either way you will be welcomed in with open arms im sure most people are... unless they break our rules
