Not enough going on in the background, needs to be blurred and rearranged so that the light playing off his robes looks like it's coming from the background. Not a bad text effect, but definitely need a better color for the words.

"Anything with gore is Bruce Lee Approves?"

Suspect

And Drist, what'd you use to make this?

Also, I've recently seen that white to black fading background, and I gotta tell you, you did it great. The font is a bit boring, I must agree, but it's a better start than most. Also, as Ptol said, you might wanna soften the edges (If you're using GIMP, use the eraser tool and find the largest fading brush, then, make the brush size 10. Erase the corners and voila, fading effect. Also, if you wanna make sure you did it well, make a new layer under all the other layers and make it a solid color, preferably a color not used in the sig. Then you can see any errors you might've made. After, just delete that layer with the color). Maybe add a border too. All I can say is mess around with whatever you have, and think out of the box whenever you're making something. It's a great start, but you still have much to learn Very Happy.

Also, you might wanna find different brushes and fonts to spruce things up. This is a great place to get new fonts, and with brushes, just Google search, or go to DeviantArt (which admittedly is not my favourite site, cause of all them furfags) to find sick and creative brushes. The only thing left to say is have fun when you're making the sigs Very Happy.

Yeah I used a few dl'd brushes to do the whole light effect. To be honest that was a complete mistake, I just took it and ran. I spent less than 20 minutes on this, so I found it a fair achievment.

Oh and I greatly appreciate all the tips, especially Thing's. I think that was the longest post out of him. I'll be producing a new piece of work tomorrow, hopefully it will look better considering I have over 20 new brushes and like 50 new fonts.
