its that skin, i fuckin hate the bug. It wasnt modeled correctly animation wise its nothing that can be fixed. My suggestions are:

1.) Use another skin
2.) Use another saber style (either single or staff)

its part of the KOtor pack, its just this skin. some of teh other skins have problems too but this one is the worst. still a great skin pack imo.
