Euro TFFA Base - Suggestion

Hello all =)
I had yesterday request to transform our Euro TFFA server in Base TFFA server.
Well,
First: How many our members whana TFFA Base server?
Second: What thinking about it our Council and Sente?

I dont hide my opinion. So I and Zawisza are thinking this is very good idea.
I think Fatal, Behaloc and maybe some more wana it too.

Pls put here Your opinions but remember, about this server decision is in Senate and Councilors hands.

i think its good idea- i think if we had two kind of servers : 1. JA+ and 2. base will be good-and we can recruit more ppl in jvs

In 2005-2006 i was a base player, so it would be a good opportunity for me to remember this vibe =D

i think its gonna cause a lot of trouble in the future, becuz different cfgs means different fighting. we are a JA+ clan FIRST AND FOREMOST. this would only be for variety purposes.

hey hey, let's think about it first.

To be honest, i have NEVER seen more then 6 ppl on this server. There are 6 bots, so if real player joins to battle, 1 bot is kicked. There must be atleast 6 real players then. Do u know why there arent' so many players on this server? Because of Main TFFA. Everybody chooses first server on the rooster.
Furthemore, I am SURE that most of jvs members haven't been on Euro TFFA yet. A lot of us played base, and still play. This means that we are used to/ getting used to "style changing"


That's my point.

ive allways enjoyed the way the euro duel
has been set up in the past.

i remember a few days ago you told me it got changed around and that the blocks were all high and stuff
so ive been waiting for it to be changed back

and base server served to very few peoples, but served really good, and now when it will be unpassworded = win



but of course this would be awesome if we could have some days when we can PW this server for some training, and then after, make it public again

With the SP configured servers we do already have different cfgs, so I wouldn't think that this could actually be a problem.

Like Iron mentioned, I'm for it for multiple reasons, firstly because as Chaos said that TFFA server is kinda full with bots all day long, so it might bring more people; secondly, despite the fact, that we are a japlus clan, basing could help a lot of people to generally improve, so I do think that it's a good idea.

About differents style fighting Dray. I cant agree with You. Between sp and mp is many diferents in style fights.This is true but i never see player who is good on base and have problems on sp or mp. More...many rly good players on sp/mp playing alot on base. We have few examples in our clan like Layfon, Behaloc, Fatal and few others. No one can sey about them, they are weak...
Few of them I remember when day join and how they play in this game
Now, many of them are much better than me or on same level.
I dont think so, is it make some troubles for our members.

There i see only one probblem...admins.
Its not to that easy moderate server like on japlus and on base we can see more cheaters like on japlus. Cos mod fix few bags. For example, on base anyone can use scripts...for poke. Well, admin must know how looks move with script and fast react on it
Anyway, Im still agree with rest...Its good idea.

So, I wait on Council/Senate decision...can I chenge cfg on Euro Tffa from japlus to base?
And pls dont voting to long about it:P

ps.: yesterday i was make new sp cfg for DUEL server. I hope it work correctly. Passward was not changed.

So go ahead and give it a shot. Try it for a few weeks and see how it turns out. If it doesn't improve server traffic then we can test out a new idea. Sound sensible?

I will switch it to base TFFA public for now today. We will see how its will look.

I am agree , thats not a bad idea at all .

A base server would be rad. I wish it was for US though

Knowing how to play base and modded servers only makes you better overall. I use to do esl but quit because of script kiddies =(

Well...if You wana I can send You script for poke for base server but to be honest, any script will help Your oponent if You will have better timing and aiming

no scripts for me thx =o

well...idk what happend but most server located in Germany have troubles in last few day. All servers provided by Greedo down. And I cant catch him to talk. We must be patience abit more. I hope all will ended good

force now invading peace server, I say we do same and pwn them.
