Fun Fact: The character "Johnney Cage" from Mortal Kombat is based off of Van Damme. Thats why Johnney Cage does the split punch like Van Damme does. If you look at Johnney Cage's costume in the first mortal kombat, you'll see it is almost exactly the same as Van Dammes costume in his 1980's movie "Blood Sport". Originaly MK was suppose to be a Van Damme game but he was already having a game based fter him so Ed Boons plans changed.
