yaknow, there already all idiots because the myan calender ended years ago, daylight savings time. they CLEARLY diddnt want national treasure lately.

lol what? daylight savings time? how does that make any sense?

1. mayan calendar was sun driven, there was no need for calibrations like daylight savings, and if there were, they were taken.
2. daylight savings are nullified every year, with one day jumping one hour, and another day going back one hour. they are utterly pointless.

daylight savings times is a joke about it, easy way to explain to people who are gullible to not panic. i thought OUR calender was offset however?

double post: actually dray, i have no clue on this subject which youve already figured out, just i coulda sworn somebody smart explained it to me how its already happened.

ur thinkin of teh leap year. And because the month of July formed later.
But that is the assumption that the Mayans are already wrong before giving evidence. If the Mayans were fortune tellers then they knew about the leap year and July.

they measured their calendar thru the sun. they didnt think the months up first and adapted them later(LIKE THE ROMANS DID). they didnt have these leap year and july problems.

Yeah, problem with the theory is like Dray said, they didn't use our calendar, they used Solar Years, a more exact method than the 365 days which requires one 366 day year every four years.
