GW2? Anyone?

Pre-purchased with a few friends.

While i'm writing this the beta weekend is on, but the servers melted after 1hour. Got to play as Charr, pretty sweet.

1st of all they did not combine them, they wanted to make something new and fresh without really copying any other MMO.

And TORtanic is bad and you should feel bad for not calling it bad.

wait who said GW2 was WOW+ TOR?

first of all, TOR = WOW+ bioware

second of all, GW2 shares no gmeplay or story with wow. at most it shares the fantasy style, but wow copied that a long time ago, as do all, from tolkien.

the gameplay is the same except some difference in the graphics

? the gameplay is not the same. wow is a hotkey macro routine based gameplay, dependent on cooldown times and stats. GW2 involves more live skill, more dependent on the aiming, timing and strategy of the player. that causes it to be more fluent and less clogged in 100000 skills and loot. as comparison, look at the HUD of GW2 and the HUD of WOW. a third of the screen in wow is dedicated to listing your skills and special attacks, debuffs, etc. GW2 has a mana bar, a health bar, and 4 slots on each side. it is much more comparable to diablo esque games than WOW.

i solved all these problems by pro-ordering diablo 3
