Unholy diplomatic thread

- vS and Unholy have set official Alliance terms now, please read and respect these terms.
1. Unholy promises to express respect for the members JvS and follow the rules of the server. Members JvS should be remembered that the majority of Russian-speaking players do not know or know very hesitant English.
2. Unholy mainly use the server Jvs for the game, do not yet have their own server.
2. Unholy promises not to recruit on servers JvS people, unless they themselves are not willing to join that. Unholy mainly Russian-speaking people after taking an unlimited trial period, if their views are the views and style of play suits the clan.
3. Unholy hasnt a system of ranks, but the system is guided by teachers and students, where everyone has equal rights. All questions about the wars, alliances and game problems are solved directly with the current leader of the Unholy clan.
4. Unholy Union with JvS is friendlybased, but not non-binding. Unholy will try to provide all possible assistance to the Allies, if such be needed.

No we don't, we just call it a police action. Vietnam, Korea, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, those were all police actions, not wars. I could get into a political tyraid with this subject but it's off-topic.

i think after 180 days the pres needs the consent of congress to contenue using the armed forces in a conflict.
Not the same as a declaration but still permission.

Yes the President needs permission to keep going, problem is that's more asking forgiveness than asking permission. The point of having Congress have to vote to declare war was so that they'd only do it if they had public backing, if they went to war without it they would likely not be there next term, because the way the public protests the government is an overthrow of power via election. By letting the President declare a police action Congress can look at the public and go "See I didn't have a choice!" and then when the vote comes to continue the police action they just excuse it as "Well we're over there already might as well do some good!" Meanwhile the President can excuse it by saying "I had to act now! People were in trouble!" Of course this is all a bit moot as at every election were given two choices: white and off-white, so nothing will ever really change. This is the fault of any two party system, when you have a set number of choices, it's easy to rig each one
