If any of you have heard, but this is a new comic that takes place during the NJO series (Vong war). We actually got a very very first look at CV last year. I still have the first poster when they handed em out lol This comes out July 13.

What are you reading?

If the latest story arc is FotJ, (Legacy not included, cause Luke's dead) which is set about 40 or so years after ANH, (in which he is 19 if my information is correct) that would put him at most in his early to mid 60's.

Unless I'm missing something.

Luke's death hasn't been revealed as it's against one of the three rules Lucas set up for all authors to the series. He wanted three things to be strictly his material in the series.

For those wondering the three rules are:

1. No one may ever be stronger than Luke Skywalker.

2. No details about Yoda's species(origin, home planet, biology, real name) may ever be revealed.

3. No one may ever kill Luke Skywalker.

yeah but tahts like, 100 years or more after his last appearance i think. he isnt immortal.

Yes the rule doesn't apply to making him immortal it just means no one can give details on his death, so Legacy comics jumped ahead 130 years to avoid having to deal with it at all. I'm hoping Lucas will eventually write Luke's death himself so we can get over him, the novels right now are actually a good platform for this as they are heavily focused on Luke overcoming an ancient power and having his painful past being brought up over and over again. The people around him are actually starting to force his hand on this because we know 4 things about the Skywalker dynasty now:

1. After Luke there has been Ben, Kol, and Cade Skywalker.

2. At 130 ABY Kol died and from his physical appearance and Cade's date of birth he should have been between 40 or 50 when he died placing his birth between 80 & 90 ABY.

3. We know Ben at current is not old enough to have children, but it only 4 years away as of 40 ABY.

4. We know Kol never knew Luke when he was alive.

So this means we have a definite time period for his death, but it's still a roughly 50 year gap.
