Those are promises, what him and lucasarts does with the quality of their games will tell me more than actual promises. But that's my opinion.

i could never beat that game, i was so close to the end. Some of those levels were a bit ridiculous

Actually I don't, I was born into the time of card battle games, and turn-based RPGs. So if you want the D&D manual then you're out of luck, but I can give you a list of the first 250 pokemon in numerical order and a list of every gym in Johto & Kanto, as well as the best strategy for killing the Divine Dragon.

I had Blue, Yellow, Silver, Crystal, & Saphire. I liked Silver best. Saphire really got lazy in my opinion, there didn't seem to be anything new just a lazy addition of over 100 pokemon that was uncalled for. I mean they put effort into Silver, Gold, and Crystal adding only 100 new pokemon and putting effort into it by introducing two new types as well as new means of evolution, and they made it longer by letting you run through all 16 gyms and face the main character from Yellow. Everything since then has seemed lazy, with the remakes of FR, LG, HG, & SS and the constant addition of either "trade with this obscure item" or "Oh look a new baby pokemon, get to breeding.
