Skinning question Empty Skinning question

If I wanted to make a skin that uses a body part of another model (example: Luke's body with kyles head), Which model.glm do I use? Do I need to create a whole new model?

you start by the scalp, and tear down the spine cause thats where its hardest to separate, then work thru the.....oh wait, thought you meant another type of skinning.

But I was thinking to have the skin cfg direct to a different skin. Would that work?

*cough* back 2 the question Wink only time a that kinda thing works is is ur just gonna use a diff skin that has the same uvmapping on the model that uses the same uvmapping as another model. surprisingly lots of the simple standard human models do just this! so u can transfer many pants, shirts, & boots from 1 skin 2 the next!
but if ur thinking of some thing along these lines it wont work cuz they have diff model uvmapping.

It was just an example. It wont work with what im really trying. sending my mostly finished skint to a friend to have the head remodled.
