i dont quite understand what you meant by bad combat lol, i think it has major improvement and its pretty good. Try pressing Space once in a while Haize. (only complaint, think two handed weapons are a bit too fast, but maybe they will fit the overall fighting system).

I was playing on the xbox 360 I feel as though the combat is like repetitive and just a button masher, also I dont like that fact that the special attacks you do are dumb there isn't enough types of attacks that don't have to recharge again feels like a button masher. I will still rent it from gamefly, but I holding out to buy this one Ill stick to waiting for elder scrolls V skyrim (:

You do know the definition of demo right? As in, demonstration? As in, here is whats new and what you can do in the game, not, here is a whole fucking game to try and beat. If you had finished the demo, you would have noticed that near the end, you end up having to fight an ogre and waves of hurlocks with just 2 or 1 special attacks per char, and they do take time to recharge. Also, pffft...xbox...i wont even tel you WHY you shouldnt play these games there. But yeah, Skyrim is looking nice, and im not a TES fan either...

lol i know its a demo i just didn't like it at all its a button masher with tactics thats all Im just not a fan of the game style at all switching characters only 3 special moves that must be recharged its like a guided open world game sure you can go where you want when you want and do what you want and there are many choices but I just don't get the same feeling when im playing TES I feel more in control and the combat feels more realistic, the story on DA is great and im sure it will be on the new one but the gameplay isn't my type at all.

No Haize was right about the combat. It wasnt BAD, but it was a bit broken.

Mage = Overpowered

Archer = Wasteful.

Seriously, you would never take an archer, cause they are useless.

Oh, and Shale was basically a way of giving newbs a chance to win anything, since you can beat anything without trying with Shale. Most broken char ever.

The other thing was that combat could be a bit monotonous RARELY.

They sped up the game in this one, and oh my gawd, archers are badass now. Seriously, this game actually mkes me consider between being a warrior or archer, thats how good they are.

Yeah the archer in part 1 was pretty worthless. I guess if you want a challenge thats your class.

tbh i just dont like the combat in DA it doesn't matter if they speed it up it feels broken to me its a great story with horrible gameplay imo.... the best way I can describe it is i feel like im playing a click to play game when I play DA... kinda like rune scape

Unrelated, but i will give you one good advice Haize. Stop playing RPGs in consoles. Stop. At least turn base RPGs, as opposed to dexterity and reflex based games.

yeah... LoD and FF are really the only "turn base" games i can handle on the consuls.

cuz A) LoD had a TON of interaction and timing and skill

and B) FF was a shitload of intensity to be called a turn based game
