Plugged in Not Charging
My new laptop had a problem from day one. When hooked to the AC cord to charge, the Icon would display "plugged in, not charging". I looked it up and it seems to be an extremely popular problem. One of the solutions was to Uninstall and Reinstall the driver which i tried. It didnt work...
I read about this one solution that everyone on the site said worked for them.
Before i try it, has anyone here have any experience with this?

you know, you should really understand that the probability people here have your laptop or know your laptop or know that problem or have experienced such a problem or had such a solution is astronomicaly low. so, before hand, you need to be more specific.

I just pull the battery and plug it back in, works 80% of the time.

Its not just my specific type. It happens to HP. Not sure about other companies.

Re: Plugged in Not Charging
maybe. doubtful tho. if the batt does not hold a charge it is usually just old. Sometimes you can 'condition' the battery and get some more life out of it.

Re: Plugged in Not Charging
there is a piece of equipment that slowly discharges and the recharges the battery even slower. the idea is to completely drain the battery and charge it again to improve the ability to hold a charge.
not something you could do yourself.
