I get it that in that context it is an idea, but it still has a tie to the theist Satan, else why use Lucifer.. They could have always just named it chucky.. or just left it as worshiping being human/human nature... so why Satan? To give it a more darker and obscure meaning?

Bueno LaVey en una entrevista tambien le preguntaron eso y dijo: para joder al cristianismo que el consideraba la religion mas dominante y que distorsiono el nombre de lucifer puesto que para los romanos su significado es "el portador de luz" y no un demonio como lo transformarion los crisitanos, en lo que es satan que significa "el adversario" lo ve representando como alguien que se atrevio a hacerle el pare a un tirano como Dios. si alguien pregunta traducelo por mi no se como hablar tanto en ingles y los traductores de internet son malisimos..
