O is for Oddworld, with games strage and clever. P is for Pac-Man, who caused quite a fever. Q is for Q-Bert’s curse-filled speech bubble. R is for Ridley, who gave Samus trouble. S is for Sonic, his fleet feet reknowned. T is for Tetris blocks falling in mounds. U is for Ulala’s fast, funky feet. V is for Video cards, fast obsolete. W for Wizardry; through dungeons we’d scurry. X for the Xbox, as big as Missouri. Y is for Yoshi, a plumber’s best friend. Z is for Zelda, and here this rhyme ends.

its not much. Thing, let me explain you something. You know that deal with 32 bit, 64 bit you see in computers? Well you see, you have to have a computer compatible with 64 bit or 32 bit. The fact it says Windows 7 64 bit on your specs means your OS is compatible and can handle 64 bit memory usage. 64 bit memory usage means that, theoretically, a computer can have a memory process power unimaginably powerful. 32 bit allows for a maximum of 4 gigabytes, wich is what the RAM sizes used to be, and thats why there was never use for more, because you wouldnt use anymore. the most memory a processor can do with 32 is 4 gigabytes of memory per cycle.

NOW, i said this, because nowadays, computers with 64 bit label, limited on what they can use. the one with biggest power is the AMD processor, wich can use up to 52 bits in physical memory, but has a 48 virtual memory limit. they dont let you use more because no one has the hardware to use more. a 52 bit processor can use up to 4 petabytes per cycle, and a 48 processor can use up to 256 terabytes. Thats RAM memory btw. The only limitations we have today in terms of processing power is our own hardware.

1,024, because geeks are confusing.

I can just see in the next five years all computers will come with a 1 PB harddrive to which most people will take up maybe 30 GB of space. That's less then 0.001%. Right now we just have a shitload of people with 1 TB HDDs using 30GB of it which is less then 3%.

im actually gona buy a new terabyte, cause mine is getting full aard. You have to understand that with more memory space, allows more complexity in coding, graphics and intelligence complexity. its not only memory that is improving, its also the complexity of our components, wich allows us to create more complex programs and files, wich take up more space, for wich we have more memory. compression is nice, but we can only compress so much... the weather forecast computers take up living rooms, and they fail miserably sometimes.

That's because they haven't gotten a new system in the last 2 years, most of those I know that have gotten one have a terrabyte of space when they hardly use 5% of it.
