indeed - i dont think that being forbidden to speak on public chat for 15 min is SO HARD.

The Silence Rule was in place when the GIW was founded, it was just ignored because it was too much of a hassle to keep silencing everyone while people were fighting. Comments can wait until the match is over, team chat is allowed so I don't see the problem guys. Seriously though guys, if you have time to chat during a match you're not really playing in the match you're just dragging your team down.

ask any person who ligitly plays tffa, communication > skill. thats gonna be the first thing out of there mouth, most tffa'ers have: "watch out" "target low" "Im low" "incoming" bound to accesible keys (or something of the sort)

Yes to TEAM CHAT. TEAM CHAT is fine, public chat is pointless in a match because if you're both really playing as best you can then nobody is there to read it and it just gets in the way.

For God sakes Xzavier will you quit whining about this...Thing was silenced because he kept using public chat. You complained about it, you got silenced and RQ'd because of it. The rules were enforced, you rq'd, end of story. Public chat shouldn't be used at all during GIW. No, you shouldn't be saying wtf, lol or anything because you should be focused ON THE MATCH. You're saying how important communication is, well, you cut off your own communication from your team when you were silenced, so don't do it. Communication is essential, yes. Can you talk in game, yes just in TEAM CHAT. It should stay there. Stop whining because you got owned for breaking the rules. Nobody wants to hear more whining about the rules. If you don't like something, propose a change....

EDIT: i dont get how you think i want more control over how this is ran, ive already said that im not going to participate in any more of them, i asked for admin so a TFFA CLAN could do a little/learn to TFFA.

How I get that you want more control is how you talk not only in your post, but on the servers. You said that GIW was so screwed up, was too serious with the rules and isn't fun anymore. If you had it your way, you'd be doing these pugs done your way so it's fun, fair etc...You DO want more control on this otherwise, you wouldn't have posted that application just to be able to head up an event. Don't use making JvS better as a TFFa clan as a smokescreen...I'm all for making the clan improve in skill with tffa, but that isn't your intentions or if it is, it's not the main one...

I'm just going to say this: Perhaps we should all just take a step back and a breath and look at what we are posting. Is it really worth it? Is it such a big deal?

One of the core ideals that this clan was founded on or at least one that Champ always told me and other was that it should be fun. So everyone quit your bitching like little children and grow some skin. From the six months I left till now, it looks like nothing has changed minus a few promotions.

looked like a good game, it looked like the Sith were lacking a bit. wish i had been there. i hope xzav did ok etc so on.

it was good... xzav played really well since he was upset... i did the same when i was on a pool league... i got into a fight with my gf at the time right before i went to the bar... played like i was a 6 instead of the 3 i was... so i told her about it when i got back... and we would go outside and fight about whatever happened that week that we wanted to get off our chests... and i played great pool... worked out for everyone
