Voting retarded , take it off

As the title says , voting enabled is retarded . Real easy to raid / gang up on a single member also retards on the Clanwar server can't handle it properly.

As much as i would LOVE Vote to stay, i think our members cant act mature enough to stay fucking still with the mouse and play the game. i will have to agree with Serv...reluctantly....go JvS....

I want voting to stay, but the past 2 days got at least 2-6 ppl in trouble IN TWO DAYS. so i suggest we take it off. One reason being that when it comes to changing maps, Gametypes, etc, we get into an arguement.

And the last thing we want is ppl rq'n every 5 seconds.

And now you know why most servers don't have voting, or limit it to very mundane things.

Well it worked fine with mature members, but most members ARENT mature, wich makes me very sad that we cant have nice things cause they cant stop eating sugar.

Mhm. Voting brings more trouble than it is worth. People abuse it more than they use it for a good reason.

I say give it more time, it got out of hand one day, I can say it's out of my system at least.

well today, i found sqrl and bg 'exploring maps'. i couldnt get in the server cause thy were exploring a map we didnt consider official....

rpj pyramid is an official map we used to use it all the time
so is mos krettle

but i go change the map to ffa3 since not everyone has it

I had already disabled a shit load of vote types before i ever read this. Once I saw people were going to act like savage animals instead of civilized humans I realized the dream I had with the voting system will never work.

i usually don't even take part in it.

could we do a password protection for senators to call vote only?

but taking it all off is stupid the ability to change map , change game type is fun and useful cause an admin isnt always gonna be on

Deadly, it aint always fun like last night.....people get dumb and then we have map voting spam and gametype spam. last night was rare occasion when everyone was mature enough about it.

I think everything except mapchange should be disabled. maybe gametype. Whats the problem with people and voting. i havent really been around for any of the problems so idk what happens.

basically, any other then the ones u saw, will argue over maps and gametypes and spam votes till they get what they want.

I also agree that some members shouldn't have this power, I think it'd be good if we kept a log maybe of these votes and if someone is spamming you take their right to vote away for a certain time:
Once:1 day
Twice: 3 Days
Three: Week
Four: 3 Weeks
Five: 3 Months
Six: Year

Maybe more or less severe; I for one have never voted something that wasn't already started and think that there is more good than evil in JvS ^,^
