If you are downloading something and you cancel the download, does everything it previously download automaticly delete or disapear or is it sitting in your computer somewhere taking up space waiting to be deleted?

If your download gets interrupted is it the same thing?

The file is partially there unless you specifically delete it, it's left like that so you can resume if you change your mind.

Some browsers, when you cancel take it as an auto-confirmation to delete what's already been put there.

IE does erase them, Chrome allows you to resume, Firefox let you resume last time I checked but it's been a while since I used it.

ALL OTHER BROWSERS REIGN OVER INTERNET EXPLORER!

Except Netscape. Netscape is a joke.

I duno about IE, but for firefox, if u didnt complete the download, it will stay as a partial file, a trick i do, is to redownload the file, but then pause it, rename the partial file into the redownloaded file , then resume the download, and it will continue from the partial file
(for eg. u downloaded JKA.exe half way, but it stoped due to browser crashing, you redownload it, because theres 2 JKA.exes now while its downloading , your new download will be called JKA.exe(1). You would pause the download and rename your JKA.exe to JKA.exe(1) and your previous JKA.exe(1) to something else. Resume the download and walla!~~~~ ur back to downloading from the partially donwloaded file

You obviously haven't checked the extension page for Google chrome in a while. It's somewhat of a rival at this point.
