Ban Appeals

If you were banned from one of our servers and would like to appeal to have the ban removed, we would love to hear your side of the story. Please post your appeal in this thread and it will be reviewed by our admins. If we decide your ban should be removed then you will need to supply us with your IP by either posting it in this thread or PMing a member of the Council, currently: Aardvark, Ptolemy, & Spidey. If you do not know your IP then go here to look it up.

Hello. Me and my pal Wobbuffet666 are both newbs to this game and we were banned from your server for a rather silly reason.

Wobbuffet told me after we got banned that someone with the letters GM in his name had connected as admin, I didn't notice because I was dueling at the time. When I was defeated I saw Wobbuffet write "What does GM stand for? Gay Marathon?". Obviously it was a joke so I thought I'd try it, and said "no, group mastrubation". And all of a sudden we were banned.

This is no major felony, is it? Merely two idiots joking. We've learned our lesson though, and it wont happen again. I hope this isn't a permanent ban, because there are very few good dueling servers around. JvS has the best one and we'd like to play there again.

Well you were violating our no flaming rule, and while I usually ask our admins to warn people first that was a rather rude statement to make to a stranger. The ban will be lifted within a few days and please do not flame again on our servers if you can promise not to violate it again. Also I need to know which server you were on.

Well, we didn't mean to offend anyone personally, but we wont pull a joke like that one again. I was playing on your dueling server. Need my IP or is it enough knowing the server?

I can get your IP via your forum account. Well sarcasm in itself is not flaming, however you used it against someone who was not your friend, and that someone just happens to have a short tolerance for that kind of joking by a stranger. So... thats why its best to be humble when on another persons server and respect everyone there. Ironrat, the guy who banned you actually provides that server so I think he not only deserves some respect but some thanks as well

Hello, I'm palying a lot on your JvS Team FFA server, and yesterday I made ONE/1 team kill - and I really regret it - but 10 sec after I was banned??¤###¤
So I was hoping that I could get a second chance, coz I really like playing on your tffa server.

One team kill shouldnt get you banned Dwim. Do you remember who the admin was?

Maybe we can help and find out why the fuck he would ban you for one kill...
